This rating pertains to Mark Daisey as a service tech, only. It does not reflect entirely on Blue dot, with whom I've had a very experience otherwise. As far as Mark's service went, that was quite underwhelming. A few data should explain my rating better than all other considerations: 1. Duration of install: 5+ hours 2. Failed to properly select type of equipment in the new thermostat (i.e., selected standard, instead of high-efficiency furnace and 1 stage instead of 2 stages + 1 AC stage instead of 2 AC stages). 3. Failed to properly wire humidifier (I corrected the issue myself when I noticed it wasn't working) by not providing a common wire to the valve relay. 4. Failed to run the diagnostics for the return and discharge temperature probes and reversed their definition in the thermostat, causing negative delta T's to be reported. 5. Failed to run the "installer tests" on the system he installed and left the premises with an improperly function of the equipment control system. During the whole install demonstrated ample hesitation, lack of confidence and had lots and lots of comments about how unreliable the wireless systems are, about how "they" (I guess, that means Blue Dot?) are always skeptical of installing wireless-reliant system because of the many signals mixing around the houses, i.e., he was pretty much preparing the field for a downright failure of his work. He managed to squeeze by and get off the door with a system that was still running somewhat. But I had to spend the next 4 days troubleshooting and fixing what he either didn't do or did do but was downright wrong. During the whole operation, Mark proved only a superficial understanding of more advanced/sophisticated/modern control systems, a remarkable lack of technological literacy (at some point he was asking me if I connected the internet gateway to the USB port !?!? that gateway does not have an USB connection; only ethernet, as that's the only way one connects to a wired network / router / switch) and - in general - a rather averse attitude towards anything more than (very) basic HVAC stuff. Extremely strong contrast to the very professional and capable team that initially installed my system.

Jason . .came to our rescue. No heat yesterday . .a tech came out . cleaned some & changed a nozzle. It worked fine then . . but only overnight! Called again and Jason came out. He really worked on figuring out what was wrong with our system . . . 11 year old oil furnace/boiler. When he left we knew what to do if problem came back . . and there was no service charge. Thank you Jason. Both servicemen were on time . . and the person scheduling them was polite/prompt. Thank you for your efforts smile emoticon

The Technician was Friendly, Courteous and Professional. He knows his stuff and was very thorough in checking the A/C system. I have been with Blue dot for many years and would recommend them highly for Heating and Air Conditioning Service and Installation.

Chris B performed annual preventive maintenance on our gas furnace today. He was on time, identified himself in a friendly manner, and got right to work. Chris identified a small item that needed attention - cleaning a flame sensor - and took care of it quickly. He also cleaned the drain line for our air conditioner condensate pan and asked about replacing the air filter media (I had replaced it not too long ago, so it was OK). Chris worked efficiently and finished up in about half an hour. I enjoyed talking with him and would be happy to have him work on our system again.

When the Technicians arrived they were professional and arrived ready to work inspite of the weather. Jorge was very knowledgeable and walked me through step by step of the installation. He was more than accommodating in sharing how the unit was to perform which I thought would be call going the extra mile. The install went very well without issues which is rare and for that I was very pleased. Kyle assisted as well without error as he worked on the outside without a cimplaint or issues. I would recommend the both of them any time.

Tony Bonazzi was only supposed to check my nearly new Carrier HVAC unit. Unfortunately I was having issues with it and he was unable to perform his service until another technician helped him resolve a 'communication' problem. When the latter was resolved the former was performed easily and speedily. All in all it was a positive experience. It just seemed strange that the phone number in the yellow pages was just a fax machine. THAT made getting in touch with them more inconvenient.

We were so worried when our furnace quit during record-breaking cold. I called Blue Dot, and we had an appointment with Dan that same morning. Dan helped us understand what had happened to our furnace and what our options were. We chose to replace our furnace with a more energy efficient unit, and the replacement was scheduled for the very next morning. The technicians came at 8, and we had heat by lunch time.

Lost heat on a cold, rainy February day - 2016. We have a maintenance contract with BlueDot, Forest Hills. Always have had great service in many years with them. They were out within 2 hours. Wet switch had tripped and repaired immediatley. Tech was great.

During the worst snow storm Blue Dot sent out first a technician who discovered my old a/c heat pump had finally stopped working, he than got my emergency heat working until they could replace the unit. The installation was completed the next day and in record time thanks to Glenn, Jorge ,Kyle and Rodney. World- class service

Dwayne T. was my Blue Dot Technician who arrived within a short time after I got the call advising he was on his way. This was nmy Fall service call pursuant to my service contract. Dwayne T. asked me if I was having any issues before checking out my system and after I told him the house was dry, he inspected and replaced my air filter on the humidifier and left it up and running. He also recommended I purchase a case of filters which would cost me less than going to a store and buying them and which has the added advantage of being shipped to my home. He verified my system was operating properly and then left. He was a pleasure to deal with and I highly recommend him.

our furnace died on a Saturday, and James R came out same day and diagnosed problem.He explained and showed us what was wrong. On Sunday am Mario came and discussed our options for units and payment options thoroughly without us feeling pressured in any way. On Monday morning, Montre and Carlos arrived on time and worked all day and installed furnace and AC units. ALL the employees were professional, courteous,friendly and answered all our questions. Montre explained everything he did, showed me how to work new thermostat, advised me on maintenance (changing filters, etc). They left work area clean, tested furnace prior to leaving. Very pleased with everyone we came in to contact with. Even people who answered my initial call to company. Everyone calls you and lets you know when they are on their way and when they will be there. I chose this company based on positive reviews I had read, and am happy we went with this company.

Made an appointment Sunday (1/17/16) 10-2. No one showed. Called around 2:30 and was told a supervisor would call us with an update. Still nothing. Called back at 4:30 and was given the same run around. No one ever showed! No one ever called! We called Roto Rooter and they came within 2 hours to fix the problem. We will never use you or recommend you to anyone. How do you run a business this way?!

Our water heater stopped working and we had no hot water. We scheduled an appointment on a Sunday. We were told a technician would be at our house between 10-2pm. No one showed or called. We called around 2:30 to inquire and was told a "supervisor" would call us and give us a status update. Still nothing. Called back around 4:30 (2.5 hours after we were told a supervisor would call) and still nothing. Was told again someone would call us. No one ever showed! No one ever called! Luckily we called *********** at 6pm (same Sunday) and they arrived within 2 hours, supplying us with hot water. I don't know how a professional company runs a business with this customer service. There was no customer service. Worst ever.

Blue Dot was prompt to service our old furnace, which we decided not to fix as it was 23 years old. They explained our options, put together a reasonably priced efficient HVAC system (filled out the energy rebate forms), and installed the system the next day. The two installers, Don and Ty, were friendly, professional, polite, explained what they were doing, and worked steady for over 12 hours to install a new air conditioner, gas furnace, and humidifier... (all Carrier High Efficiency) that all work off of an Infinity thermostat. Don showed us how to operate the system and showed us the installations. Ty explained the air conditioning system. They started work very early in the morning as this was a big job. They were outstanding. This is a professional operation... the repair division, the person that put the system together, and the installers. The whole job, inspect the old furnace, put the system together, and install was done in 24 hours. Excellent! I recommend this company!
