Ramone, Tony,Jorge and Kyle did a wonderful job installing a new gas furnace and A/C system today as well as a new water heater. They were fast, polite, efficient and cleaned up afterward.

I had a heat pump system installed by Blue Dot of MD, today. The install techs were Jorge and Kyle. They were here promptly at 9 a. as promised. They were very courteous and worked diligently to accomplish this very difficult attic install in a very tight space. Good job Blue Dot. I will recommend you.

We did not have any heat on 1/5/16. Peter P. was actually servicing a neighbors house next door and came over after he was done. He fixed our heat, explained what was wrong and gave us recommendations on how to keep our HVAC unit in tip top shape. I am so glad he agreed to come over and take a look at our unit for us. My service technician was Dave Nash. He came out twice. The first time he explained to me the issue and that a part had to be ordered. Blue Dot called to advise the part had arrived and to schedule installation. Dave was available to install the part. Both times Dave was pleasant and courteous. I understood everything he said. He did a very good job and did not make a mess. Thank you Dave for your professionalism. You make Blue Dot Services of Maryland look good.

Poor service and professionalism! I had scheduled a routine service appointment with Blue Dot for the afternoon of Wednesday, 16 December between 12-3pm. The call center representatives contacted me the night prior to remind me of the appointment and again the afternoon of the appointment. At 3pm the day of the appointment, I contacted Blue Dot to inquire on the status of the technicians and was informed they were running late and would be there shortly. At 4:30pm I contacted them again and was informed it would now be after 5:30pm before they could arrive. At this point, I rescheduled the appointment for the following Tuesday, 22 December between 8-9am...the scheduler apologized profusely and informed me I was being scheduled for the first appointment. The evening prior to the appointment, I was again called by Blue Dot and reminded of the appointment. However, the following morning at 8:32am, I was again called and informed the technicians were running late due a meeting they had scheduled for the morning. By 9:45am the technicians had not yet arrived and I contacted Blue Dot and requested to speak with a manager. I was passed to the call center manager, Tamika, who informed me the technicians were running late, due to internal training they had every Tuesday and Thursday and they should not have scheduled the appointment for first thing. When I inquired into the status of the appointment, I was then informed it would be closer to 10:45-11:00am, since the technicians were coming from Forest Hill, MD. As a result, I requested to speak with the General Manager and was informed he was in a meeting, but I could leave him a voicemail...9 days later and I've still not heard back from Blue Dot!!! Bottomline: I took two separate day off work for scheduled appointments and the company truly lacks professionalism...I would strongly recommend against using them!!!

I decided to upgrade one of my two HVAC zones due to generally poor experience with the quality and safety of the Builder provided plumbing/electrical/roofing equipment and workmanship. It is 9 years out and a few problems had cropped up. Blue Dot satisfied my needs for explaining options and the relative merits of the various ones. The price was reasonable and I know I have 24/7 service. The install techs Jorge and Kyle were very professional and could not have made a better impression for the company.

Recently my husband and I purchased a new home. We had heard that Blue Dot was a decent company to work with in the Baltimore area. My husband called and set up an appointment for a Monday morning. Promptly at 8am a technician named Dwayne T. was at our door. He took his time to review all components of our AC unit, provided his technical expertise, and professional recommendations on how to make our home more efficient. Overall, it was a great experience and we will be using them for our yearly maintenance.

Jack S came for annual furnace cleaning. He left without testing system. Later when I tried to use heat it didn't work. A second technicIan needed to return. Problem was Jack did not turn the gas back on. Blue Dot responded within hour and sent second tech who determined issue immediately.

Tony was on time and did a great job today. He serviced our two Carrier heat pumps, and explained the issues with both in a very understandable way. Some parts have to be ordered for the main heat pump, and we are using the resistance heat in the main part of the house for the next several days. My wife and I really appreciate the service call today (she just called Blue Dot yesterday afternoon), as we were having problems with the main unit! Blue Dot installed the units eight years ago, and we have had a service contract with them ever since. Tony is a good example of the highly qualified technicians at Blue Dot. When BlueDot installed our heat pump we wer told to get an AprilAire filter. Further, we were told as it gets dirty it actually does a better job. The current one has been in there for just 8 months and, while it looks dirty, I don't think it needs replacement. I have checked previous filters at one yr and replaced them at 2 yrs. The technician has been pushing me to replace it. Did I misunderstand my filter or does you tech not know how it works? Jerome serviced our system today.

The tech that came to my house on Nov.30, was Peter Polesky, he was very polite, informative and knowledgable. He informed me of available opitions available to me .He also changed the filter,turned in the humidifer forme he also asked if Iwas haveing any problems before proceeding. Iwould recomend him in a minute. I did niot feel confused when he was finished. My thanks to him for agood visit.

Jason arrived for an annual service inspection and diagnosed a potentially cracked heat exchanger in our oil burner and other problems. I was just home from back surgery and we were stuck at the house. The salesman arrived and we discussed options and settled on a combination heat pump with oil heat as backup. This is the second time we have replaced the furnace at our home in 25 years. We scheduled the install for two days later. The techs showed up 2 hours late but were able to install and test the system by 8:30 that evening. This was not a problem for us, just a little unsettling that they arrived two hours late for a total system replacement. The names I have for the installation team are Shawn, Will and Tom but no last names on the card. I feel they were all knowledgeable, professional, pleasant and were open to discussing any questions we had. They also kept the work areas clean and organized for their safety and our liability which was a blessing. The installation was neat and looks quite professional. Thank all of you for getting the system up and running in just one day.

Carlos moved a UVA bulb from the furnace intake to above the evaporator where it was supposed to be installed. He also noted mold in the furnace that it will kill, but said that the next PM guy should clean it, so I'll make sure that happens (service last week did NOT do that). Carlos was fast, efficient, and had it fixed in about ten minutes--no issues.

On November 16, 2015 Peter Polesley responded to my request for a problem with my new heat pump installation. It seemed that when the heat pump began a "Heat" cycle, it came on in the "Auxiliary Heat" mode. He arrived at my residence and was able to extend the interval from 15 minute to 25 minutes when the "Auxiliary Heat" came on after the "Heat On" function began. It seems to work well now. Thanks for the great job and explanations of how my heat pump works.

Blue Dot installed a new Carrier Comfort Series heat pump and compressor. It is a 2 ton 14 seer unit. The unit was installed in a reasonable period of time, i.e., one day. The installers were: R.E; J.P; and K.U. The consultant was R.P. My experience and bottom line price was postive.
