After thinking we were not getting service until the next day, lo and behold after less than twenty minutes, Chris Meade was walking in my house. This guy was dressed professional, acted like a pro. Thomas was knowledgeable and efficient. It was good to have him here at midnight until two a.m. He explained everything clearly and gave us options on what work should, could and would be done. He had his head about him, when we were loosing our heads. He is young; but, a very good worker. We appreciate him very much. My experience with the crew from Benjamin Franklin was great, We needed major plumbing work , they cut through concrete , dug up dirt, and laid pipe. Kept the laundry room and kitchen area in top notch living condition while performing the task to repair everything and made it useable while doing this difficult job. Although they are expensive and use a national price basing system, you cannot argue with the quality of performance or level of professionalism demonstrated by all the employees of Ben Franklin plumbing. The dispatcher was extremely courteous and willing to get me plumbing assistance promptly. I have use Ben Franklin plumbing of Columbus on three different occasions and must have spent over 2000.00 for various services like Hot water heater installation, clogged main lines etc. by now. I can state however that while more expensive than any other local plumber, the job will be done right and they do not have to return to fix the problem again. On this most recent visit, I was extremely happy with the service I got from Thomas W. He was knowledgeable, respectful, and worked tirelessly to get the job done right. Thanks! Thomas W. 09/10/15 |

Very courteous and efficient service, but thought the cost of the work was very expensive for what was being done. Also, would be nice to be able to schedule a day and time within at least a 2 hr window period without having to pay $79 for scheduling it. It's hard to be at home for long periods of time waiting for a call to come in. I'm probably going to look for a more cost effective company in the future. 07/23/15 |

I had a broken water line today - Father's Day! I called Ben Franklin and within a very short time I had a wonderful gentleman named Gerry come and make everything perfect! I received an estimate and the job was completed quickly and the work was very well done. Gerry was efficient, courteous, and did an outstanding job all the way around. I hope I have the right Gerry. Joseph Moore is the man. It took his entire arsenal of plumbing power tools to break a stubborn clog in a 47 year old cast iron pipe. He went above and beyond to get that pipe flowing again. All pricing was up front and clearly stated with no surprises. Very, very expensive, but considering the manpower required to fix the issue I agree it was worth it in the end. Joseph M. 06/19/15 |

My sewer line was completely clogged with roots. My back yard is difficult to access, it is in 2 tiers and the bottom part had become an overgrown jungle. Thomas had to arrange with my neighbor to use his drive way and find someone to clear my back yard so he could gain access to the sewer line. I was very discouraged but Thomas was persistent and took care of everything. The work was completed in 2 days and he was even able to put my fence back like it was. I am relieved to know I will not have to worry about sewer backup ever again. Thomas was reliable and thorough and a pleasure to work with.
