Amistee came to my house today because my dryer vent pipe was getting really clogged. My technicians were fantastic! They were courteous, personable, and knowledgeable. They took pictures before, cleaned, took another photo, went back and cleaned again, taking another photo to make sure it was 100% cleaned out. They cleaned up everything afterward and gave me a suggestion to prevent this from happening again. Such wonderful people. I have hired Amistee in the past, and will continue to do so in the future. Melvin and Jeff were prompt, professional and efficient. I only have one concern. I was told NO dust (duct dirt, dust, etc.) would enter the living spaces through the returns (cold air/ heat returns) during the cleaning process. Well to my surprise I noticed big clouds of dust down the main hallway and in the living room shortly after they began cleaning the main cold air run in the basement. I notified the workers about the clouds of dust in the living spaces. Soon there after, Melvin came upstairs and "sealed off" the cold air returns with some blue plastic. Had this step been done earlier (before the vac cleaning was started) I doubt if any clouds of dust would've entered the living space. Now I need to have the whole mainfloor living space cleaned, carpet and furniture, floors and walls. The other concern I had was not really knowing for sure if all the ducts were 100 percent cleaned. Service was scheduled for soon after my initial call, which was important to me. Rick and Doug arrived on time, thoroughly explained their process and provided a time estimate. Having dealt with numerous contractors over the years, it always causes some questions when you hire a "new company" for the first time. Sometimes the companies don't deliver what they promise, charge more than quoted, the workmanship is shoddy, they leave a mess and in general leave you "sorry" for hiring them. Since this was the first time hiring Amistee I too was left wondering if the referral I was given (by my Family heating repairman) was just another run of the mill outfit. I was pleasantly surprised to see this company (Amistee) takes the proper steps to insure the job is done right, from start to finish with a "professional approach" only seen with esteemed companies like UPS, It was very evident to me that Amistee has a solid training program and company rules that keep it's employees doing the right things to ensure future growth, loyalty and success. On 2/17/2015 both Joe Y. and Melvin arrive to home to perform a duct cleaning. Upon arrival, they discussed what they were going to do, walked done the HVAC system and then proceeded to place drop cloths down to protect my floors and walls. They immediately proceeded to prepare the duct work to complete the cleaning process. They took before pictures and they took pictures at the end of the job. They cleaned all the ducts and I can honestly say they exceeded my expectations. What a difference! They also cleaned up after themselves which was a plus. Jake and Josh did an awesome job...from the time they entered our home they were very professional. They covered their shoes as well as protected all corners with foam blocks and covered floors were they laid the equipment. It took 2 1/2 to 3 hours from the time they arrived until they left. They blew all the heat ducts and return vents and vacuumed out all the ducts. I purchased a new filter to go in after the vents were cleaned and they also installed the new one and disposed the old filter. We are very pleased with the service we received from Amistee and will have them back in another 4 years. We will highly recommend this business. Thanks for doing such a great job guys. The positive experience that I had with Amistee started from the very first contact that I had with the company. I found Amistee through Google search, and made an online request to have a representative contact me regarding the air duct cleaning service. Within a couple hours I received a phone call from Donna. From our brief phone conversation, it was easy to tell that Donna enjoys her job. She spoke with an energetic tone and was very knowledgeable about the services that Amistee offers. It was obvious that Donna has a high-level of pride for herself and for Amistee. I was looking to get the cleaning done as soon as possible, without having to miss work, and Donna was able to schedule me an appointment for the coming Saturday. The day of the appointment, Dan and Jackie B. showed up right on schedule. Right from the jump, they were very professional. They informed me what the process entailed (I already knew but let them tell me anyways to see how well they could describe the service) and got to work. They wore shoe covers in order to keep the floors clean and were sure to be careful when moving furniture to gain access to the vents and returns. It took them just under 2 hours to complete the cleaning process. When they were finished they plugged all the access holes that they made, moved furniture back to where it belonged, and cleaned up after themselves. They even disposed of two old furnace filters that I had yet to get rid of. Dan reviewed the before and after pictures with me and I was nothing short of amazed. They did an incredible job. It has now been 3 whole days since we got the ducts cleaned. Our 8 month old daughter, who has had colds since before Christmas, is breathing better and her chronic congestion is subsiding. My wife and I have not slept or been able to breath better since we bought the house in 2012. We used to have to dust every couple of days but we haven't dusted since Saturday afternoon and there is still only a very minimal amount of visible surface dust. Also, our home smells better and seems to be distributing heat more evenly. I would recommend Amistee Air Duct Cleaning with the highest regards. It was cold outside and the house was cold inside but I got excellent help from Rick and Jackie and clean ducts as well. They where polite, efficient, and dedicated. They explained what they where going to do and how they would go about doing it.
They where considerate of the person in the home who was using oxygen and ask if there would be any issues for him.
They stayed with it until the furnace started up even to the point of having to call the furnace company for information. What a relief clean ducts and a warm house!

As a first time homeowner this was my first experience getting our vents/HVAC system cleaned. Joe Y. and Darren were very professional and explained the process to me and answered any questions I had. They did a very thorough job. Before and after pictures were provided. However, by a quick inspection of the vents in the house afterwards, all the dog hair and dust clumps in the vents was gone. Additionally, in one room we have window curtains that hang over two vents. In the past the vents only made one side of the curtains billow out, as if only one vent was effectively heating the room. After Joe Y. and Darren left I noticed that both side of the curtains were now billowing out, hopefully evidence that both vents are now effectively heating the room.
