During the coronavirus pandemic, my washing machine decided to start leaking. Great timing.... ugh!!! I called Universe immediately and the gentleman who answered was so sincere and helpful. He was able to figure out whether I needed one of their plumbers or other type of technician to come out to repair my problem. He was also able to give me a time for the same day!!!! And was extremely thorough to ask us if anyone had been sick, had a fever etc. and also, reassured us that their employee would be wearing a mask and gloves for the job to be safe. He was very concerned for his employee’s safety, as well as ours. This made me feel much more at ease with having an outsider come to the house during this crazy time. Mark S., a plumber came within a half hour of my call!!! He was wonderful and did a great job. I was very impressed by his attention to safety by wearing his mask during the entire job. He also left the area where he worked spotless and took away all garbage and debris. Overall, Mark S. did a great job and I highly recommend Universe for all your appliance repairs. Survey is repetitive. I already commented for you on 3 platforms and called to say thank you as it was finally warm in my workspace. J was wonderful. Fixed problem in a mask, kept social distancing standards, fixed problem.and reminded me that i have a service contract and owed nothing. He even reminded me to turn down the thermostat ( i set it to 90 hoping that it would reach over 66 degrees) kind, understanding and prompt service. I also appreciate the honesty and guidance because I'm not house smart. I work hard enough to have a house but not always sure how to fix things or what to do. 04/14/20 |

I'm lucky to have a home, i work long hours and I'm often unaware of how to take care of my home. With new standards of working at home, my heater wasn't heating. I even ordered a space heater, and made a video to ask for as advice as to why i might be setting my thermostat incorrectly. Universal is an essential service, they are allowed to do service calls. They were clean, friendly and kept social distancing standards. Universal wore a mask the whole time, flushed the radiator and reminded me i was on a service contract so the call was free. I was also reminded to turn thermostat down from 90 because if i didn't it would actually get that hot. When I'm not as house smart as i should be, it is nice to have honest professionals help me out. I have kept my service contract with them for years.
