I have been using Universe for heating services for several years now and have always been satisfied. So it was a no-brainer for me to call them whenever I had a plumbing or electrical issue in my home as well. Again, excellent service on both counts. Recently I had an electrical issue which was not an emergency, just something I was curious about pursuing with Universe. I called on a Saturday, hoping to make an appointment for the coming week, or even after that. I spoke to Frank, who was so pleasant and helpful. Two employees were on a call in my area .and Frank explained they could stop by and "take a look". Sure enough, my doorbell rang a short time later. Joe D and Peggy turned out to be my "dynamic duo" that day. Not only did they efficiently tend to my issue on the very same day, they were neat, polite, pleasant and extra helpful; in short, everything a homeowner wants when paying for a service. I purchased a boiler from Universe in March of 2018 and the installation was exceptional. They were clean and prompt. they ran all of the pipes and wiring in a very structured manner and labeled everything. I would give them 5 stars but i am a bit concerned. Last week was the coldest day since the boiler was installed and it was unable to supply enough heat to my main zone to keep the temperature above 68. My old boiler never had this problem. I called universe and they sent a technician over promptly but he was unable to find any problems. I'm worried that the boiler they sold me was undersized for my home. I'll keep an eye on it and complain if i have the same problem the next cold day. James D. 01/28/19 |

We've used Universe Home Services for many years for different services.
We had an issue with one of our steam radiators this past very cold Monday. After a reschedule request, Sean and JP arrived Friday morning. They provided an estimate for a "best case scenario" because it was a difficult job. They worked hard and were able to replace the necessary part. They waited until the heat came on and continued looking when the heat did not flow as quick as it should. They figured it out and the problem was solved. They were both friendly and polite. It was a best scenario. We will definitely use Universe again. 01/27/19 |

We have had issues with our heating unit purchased through universe for some time now. Tim B came over after many service technicians tried to fix and within an hour , we are up and running better than before. So far so good...
Thank you for your deligence and effort to get our unit working.
My only concern is that there is only one Tim B.
Maybe the technicians need to learn from the him.

Terrible service, very disappointed. Scheduled time between 10 and 3. Arrived at 4and took 1 and a half hours to drain system. Very messy work area not at all what I expected from past experience and steep price of job. Finished at 8:30 with house freezing. 01/23/19 |

I am extremely impressed with the service that universal gave me when they responded to a broken water pipe.They were here at the time they told me they would be at my residence. They were professional, courteous and they were immaculate both in the way they repaired my pipe break and in the way they cleaned up.
I would recommend them to anyone if it’s a small job or a big job.

I hired Universe To replace my boiler and hot water heater. The company was great to work with right from the start. John from sales is a real gentleman. He explained exactly what I needed and what my options were. He was very knowledgeable and there was no pressure. I did my homework prior to hiring Universe. After numerous estimates, Needless to say I went with Universe. I had an appointment within 3 days to have a complete system installed. Anthony, Mike and Sean showed up right on time. There work was of the highest quality. They were friendly, polite and extremely knowledgeable. They were real perfectionists. Changing a boiler is a messy job. They took every precaution to make sure everything was covered and protected, and when they were finished it was as if they were never there. I can’t tell you enough how impressed I was with the way they worked as a team. They did such an amazing job. When they were done it was a real work of art. Everything was perfect. Then they took the time to explain everything they did and why they did it. I highly recommend Universe. Ask for Anthony, Mike and Sean you will not be disappointed. Thank you guys. God bless you. My technician was professional. He tried several different diagnostics to solve my issue with my heating system. He could not find any issues. Two complaints. The house temperature was set at 70 degrees. When I got home the temperature was 74 degrees. It was too hot in addition, the technician changed the aquastat setting for the air handler. I advised the current setting was done on purpose by universe to remedy an older issue. When I lowered the thermostat to 70 degrees, the heat wouldn't shut off.
