Excellent technician. He did an extensive amount of troubleshooting as the problem was elusive. He serviced the dryer and did a check to see if it was working before he left. We have been loyal customers of Universe Appliance Repairs for over 20 years as they're outstanding in both customer service and technical professionalism. Our water heater was hissing and gushing water at 4:40 on a Friday afternoon. Lauren in the Service Dept. ensured someone would be over our house within the hour. This was an emergency that could not wait and it was a relief that Thomas R. showed up at our door by 5:40pm. He attended to our water heater issues and made sure that we had cold water at least but we clearly needed a new replacement as it was 17 years old and worn. The next day Thomas showed up 20 minutes *prior* to the given window of time they gave us, much to our delight and replaced our water heater (solo) within 2 hours. Will, Sean and Mike from Universe were SPECTACULAR. From the minute they arrived to the minute they left, they were kind, courteous, knowledgeable and just plain amazing. I had a new furnace, new hot water heater and a new AC unit installed and they did a standup job. My basement is cleaner now than before they arrived! You’ve got a GREAT team!
