My experience with Universe was extraordinary. From the minute the crew came they were very courteous, seemed like they genuinely cared about what they were doing, and were obviously extremely competent. It was easy to tell they were proud of what they do. I had my oil converted to gas and had the on-demand Rinnai Combo system installed. The installation looked beautiful as well as working extremely well. The crew worked really worked well together and cleaned up very nicely before they left. Both Anthony and Mike were great guys, as well as the three other members of the crew. It’s clear to me that this is a first-rate company with management that really cares. I intend to use them for any, and all, repairs and services in the future. It makes me feel secure knowing this company is out there, and well established. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Tom W came out to clean our ductless ac. It was pretty dirty but he cleaned the unit, left the area clean as if he was never there. Machine is running quieter and circulating more air. Universe Home Services did an oil to gas conversion for me as well as Central A/C and both times we had the opportunity to work with them, was a complete pleasure. We have used Universe for service in all four homes we have owned. We have always found the office staff knowledgeable and engaged. The service people are well versed in all areas of home service and can explain the situation in a way that is clear to a novice.
We highly recommend this service organization that has been here since the 1950's.
Eric the service man who worked on our Heating and A/C system recently, was very conscientious. He listened to our concerns and serviced both systems efficiently.

Excellent response and service on a Saturday mid-afternoon. Repairman explained thoroughly what the issue was with the plumbing clog and indicated what pipes needed replacement. He worked very hard on the clog after repairing the pipes. Repairman was very patient and professional trying several ways to identify and locate the clog. Once the problem was repaired he made sure he had completely fixed the problem. First, the back office At Universe is courteous, professional and literally go out of their way to accommodate you.
My job was electrical and consisted of moving some outlets, installing a new one and replacing several and replacing all the high hats and installing a new one. At the end he installed a new light sensor outside. Steve joined in with about 25% of the job left. Both were excellent workers who were meticulous about their work.
Jim showed up on time, reviewed the job and proceeded to get to work...never even braking considering the amount of work to be done and working in the attic. Jim showed and used his considerable knowledge to do the job considering there were areas he needed to work where the wiring was old in the walls. There were some obstacles but Jim was not the least bit deterred and was masterful in his work. Steve exhibited the same traits and corrected one of my light switches which he notice was installed improperly.
