James D. is knowledgeable and a quick service tech. I have had many people over the years service my boilers and he rates as one of the best. He came to replace a failing pressure relief valve and informed me that Universe protocol has him change out the expansion tank and the boiler fill valve at the same time. All covered under the service contract. I like that Universe is being proactive and reducing call backs. Also, James didn't mind me asking a lot of questions. I got some useful information from him on the lifespan of boilers & hot water heaters and a whole house filtration system. He gave me some useful insight. James D. 10/28/19 |

Tim did an excellent job on the maintenance service for my high efficiency Bosch boiler. He found the electrodes needed replacement. There was some difficulty removing the cover plate but he quickly resolved the issue and installed new ones. He gave the boiler a very through & complete check-up. Told me I needed new gas valve, and a pilot assembly because the system was old and wouldn’t turn back on. Quoted me 740+ Told him I’m not paying 30% of the cost of a new boiler (2500) for a simple repair. Watched how he opened the boiler and removed the pilot. When he left I removed the pilot the same way, cleaned it up a little and re-lit it without an issue at all. I guess because I’m young he thought I wouldn’t know any better and tried to take advantage to charge me 7+ for an unnecessary job. Good thing I’m in the home improvement business and know a little better then most people do Because I would’ve been scammed out of 700+ dollars for no reason at all. I was planning to get a service contract with them but now there’s no chance in hell of that happening either. 10/22/19 |

Frank was absolutely amazing. Service was super fast for an emergency call. He took the time to go over my problem and my concerns. He showed me everything from top to bottom. He knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it super fast. He gave me multiple options on what to do in the future so that it doesn’t happen again and made suggestions on how to prevent it from happening. I highly recommend this company.
