I failed to put in a review of Jay a while back when he made time to come to my house to unclog a kitchen drain. I had been having problems with this happening frequently and Jay politely suggested a way to hook up my dish washer to my disposal and kitchen sink. I agreed that doing that fix might do the trick for me, as well as (suggested by Jay) being cautious in what I put down the drain. Jay was so professional and personable, and we learned that after our job he was going to a Father/Daughter dance that evening. He worked quite late and we were worried he might be working too late to really get home for his daughter's dance. However, all the time he was expertly doing our dishwasher/sink repair, we had a great time talking about various subjects and it was like we had a family member helping out with our sink. Back in the beginning of February our upstairs furnace went out. We were faced with decision of repairing it or buying a new one. Buying a new one also meant replace our AC condensor which was hooked up to it and was actually leaking coolant onto our furnace. Just repairing the furnace did not solve the condenser problem and Tipping Hat advised us to go with the replacement as the financially sound move. It then became a question of what to do with the downstairs furnace. It was the same age as the upstairs furnace but did not have the coolant leaking problem and was not experiencing any problems. We decided to replace the downstairs unit too because it would reduce our heating costs, save on Tipping Hat labor and reduce the number of times the county would have to come out to our house for inspections. The upstairs furnace and condenser replacement went just fine, but the downstairs furnace replacement had many problems Tipping Hat was out to our house 5 or 6 times to repair but could not make the new furnace fully reliable so they decided to replace the new unit. It took them less than a week to schedule a replacement even though temperatures were below freezing and Tipping Hat's staff was receiving over 200 calls per day for support. The new team of Floyd and Corey arrived on time and brought us out a higher end, Prestige Series unit. They installed the new furnace quickly and checked it out totally. They were courteous, worked in a very clean manner and answered all our questions. We are very happy with them. Our only question is why the old downstairs furnace was not a Prestige Series model. The unit they installed for our upstairs was. It seems like the two units should have been comparable and that would have saved us all a lot of time and effort. I initially spoke to Shannon at Tipping Hat Plumbing to request to have a kitchen line drain unplugged and also mentioned I wanted the piping from a bathtub checked that was leaking. Tipping Hat sent Service Tech Reuben out to make the repair and he was very professional and knowledgeable. Reuben walked me through and showed me the items that needed to be repaired in order to bring the piping and the water heater up to code. I really appreciated that Reuben took pride in his work and that his work quality had to meet his standards of excellence!!!! I would highly recommend, Tipping Hat Plumbing for future services. Chris D (Sr and Jr) and Kyler A did exemplary work hanging a 40” chandelier today in my entry way. It was a difficult job maneuvering in my 18’ entry that’s also built on a platform. It was clear that delivering quality service was their first concern and their trust in each other was evident. Always happy to see John, the estimator, as well. We had an emergency backup with our plumbing. We called Tipping Hat and spoke with Dustin, who was very helpful and professional. He scheduled Kodiak and Zack to come out and fix our plumbing problem. We were notified 30 minutes before Kodiak and Zack arrived. December 4, 2020, Tipping Hat Plumbing and Heating installed, in our home, a new Rheem Furnace and A/C unit system. The installation crew was Chappie and Roman. They did a “first class” installation and respected our home in the process. Upon completion they did a thorough clean-up outside at the A/C unit and in the furnace room. Needless, to say we were satisfied with the professional quality of the installation, and the overall performance of this crew. Unfortunately, however, the new furnace developed a “high- pitched” noise, that after numerous attempts could not be identified. On February 24, 2021, Tipping Hat exercised their “No Lemon Guarantee” and installed an entirely new Rheem furnace in place of the noisey unit, free of charge. The Installation crew for this project was Roman and Kyle. They performed in the same manner as the original crew, with attention to detail and expert workmanship, accomplishing the same quality and professional installation. Additionally, they again respected our home and did a thorough clean-up of dust and debris, in the furnace room. We were, again, impressed and satisfied with the installation. However, the most important result, of course, is that we now have a furnace that provides a quite operation. Oher Tipping Hat players, involved over the last few weeks, that deserve recognition are Service Technicians, Josiah and Isaac, Service Manager Matt and Project Coordinator, Sean Farris. All members of Tipping Hat have been a pleasure to work with, very professional providing communication and an honest concern for customer service and customer satisfaction. First of all it was a pleasure meeting the team who service my house in which I needed a furnace fix. Michael the rep went into my crawl space took pictures to show me the problem. He said it's fixable but he also gave me other alternatives to replace my 40 year old furnace, which was the route I took, since the price to fix was practically the price for a new one.but an extra $2000.00 more. So we went new. I choose our product and Michael left my house with a couple of space heaters to keep us going until the install 4 days later. He was very polite and said we will take very good care of you. Four days later the installers Tyler and Jay arrived on time to get started they both showed the quality of professionalism you rarely fine theses days in techs, they both even had a little humor to share in their field of expertise. They both cleaned up well where needed after the work was completed, they answered all our questions and even gave us tips on how to take care of our hot water heater, when that wasn't even part of the project. These guys went above and beyond their install for us with the water heater questions and teaching two senior citizens how to use a smart thermostat. Thanks Michael they did take good care of us. Dominic showed up at 8:30am to install a gas line extension in my home, so I can have a gas stove. He is by far the most professional technician I have ever experienced in Colorado. He was very efficient with his time and work. He did not stop for a minute, worked hard and knew exactly what to do. He worked the job, like a 30 year old vet chef in the kitchen. He even refused to take a brake for a coffee or breakfast I offered.
All in all, Dominic is the MAN to get to your home for anything gas related. He can probably do any job in his sleep. Respectful, no nonsense, completely focused and passionate about his craft. I was blown away by him and very impressed with his skills, ethics, and craftsmanship.
