Ive really enjoyed working with this company. My husband and I refinish bathtubs for a living and on several occasions we need the drain and over flow removed in order to provide the best refinish for our customers. Only Satisfied I was satisfied with the resolution to our leaky bathtub but when I asked the plumber if he could also help me with my steam shower's need for a power flush he told me no, that was out of his realm. Casey stated that he had never seen that type of drain setup before but fixed it to the best of his knowledge and let them know that due to the type of drain if it continues to leak they may need to replace the entire fixture. This is only the 2nd time we've used Sunshine, but we'll never use anyone else. From the offices to the service people, complete satisfaction is their only goal. This time, we had our furnace making scary banging noises. The tech came out and in 10 seconds found that the schematics sticker had come off the inside of the door and landed up against the blower, unbalancing it and creating the banging. Because we pay a trip charge, the techs don't need to make up problems to fix to compensate for their time, so that was it. He pulled out the paper and we all went on with our day. At no fault of Sunshine we had them out - again. This time we had issues with a garbage disposal. William F. was the technician. 1) timing was on time 2) I appreciate the use of technology. Appointment reminders, and even an email the day of to tell me who to expect 3) William fixed the issue in no time flat My wife and will keep the Sunshine card as our de-facto call. I've always felt the service (at least so far) has been courteous, the price reasonable. I'd recommend them for the service they provided, and the technician (Douby) was great, but I have issues with their invoice system. The estimate didn't include a break-down of what all of the charges were going to be for, and they ended up having to send me three of four separate invoices so they could include all of the notes from the technician since their system apparently doesn't allow the technician to update an existing invoice to add notes, explanations, etc once it's been submitted. This was very frustrating as I'm selling my home and wanted to make sure all issues from the buyer's inspection were addressed and shown on the invoice, so I had to send them multiple invoices. He came out and they did the replacement. They did also have to cut a hole in the ceiling, put in a different valve than what the big deal stated and he did some other work for us too. It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. It went great. We actually thought something was wrong with it because someone else had told us and he was very honest and said that there wasn't anything wrong with it, which was fantastic. We didn't pay any additional. We did it based on an energy audit we had done. That guy told us that something dangerous was wrong with our water heater. He really could have taken us and he didn't. He ran a little bit late but he called and let us know, which wasn't a big deal because we had snow that day. He was very clean cut and I felt comfortable letting him in the house.
