Had service by the owner in the past which was great. He replaced my furnace and did a water heater flush. I kew I wanted to have service from Sunshine again in the future. Fast forward...I needed service again on a rental property. They sent out Jared who was great as well. Very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained the maintenance plan for the furnace, easy to understand. I highly recommend Sunshine wee owned and operated. High quality employees from field staff as well as front office. Thanks Sandy and Susan as well. Truly well run company. I rent a condo and my landlord had Sunshine come our for a routine water heater/furnace inspection. While William Frew was out here I had him look at the handle on my toilet that was apparently broken. When he called my landlord to tell her about all of the issues he found, including that I needed a new handle, she would not authorize any work to be done yet. She had to talk it over with her husband first. I really needed an new toilet handle so I could flush my toilet, and William went out to the local hardware store and purchased one for me and installed it free of charge! Now that is what I call service. I will forever use this company and recommend them to all my friends. Thank you William for going that extra mile for a stranger and making me feel so grateful. Very professional. Was running late but called to let me know. Responsive to all my questions and concerns. Had a package of furnace filters on his truck he wasn't using, so gave it to me for free. My furnace is located in the crawl space, so didn't go down there with him and can't say what he did down there, but everything seems fine. The price from Sunshine was right in the ball park for the furnace but it was the first furnace offered with a two stage gas valve and variable speed fan in an 80% efficiency. (and it's a Carrier product) After researching all the products that had been introduced to me I really thought this was the best by far. The coil was more expensive than the quotes I had received previously but I didn't care because I was so sold on the furnace! Joe was GREAT! Sunshine did a great job. Even though this was a small job, they were willing to do it, and provided good customer service. They had to reschedule because some parts weren't initially available, and they called promptly to let me know and rescheduled within a week. In fact, communication was excellent - they made confirmation calls the day before the work, called to let me know of a slight delay in arrival time, and overall were very communicative. So many folks don't bother to let you know what's going on and don't call if schedules change, so I really appreciate it when they do. I'm no expert (if I was we'd do the work ourselves), but am pleased with the quality of their work. Jared spent extra time making sure the fan was positioned well so it wouldn't vibrate and make extra noise. Technician was on time and promptly went to work. We had leaking in the basement that happened when the powder room toilet was flushed. He discovered that the problem was caused by a leaking seal because the original installation of the toilet was poorly done. He pulled the toilet and replaced the seal. William F. 10/15/14 |

He was able to relight the pilot on my water heater. He also answered questions that I had about my water heater, very helpful. Went very well, I have only good things to say about Sunshine and the tech (I'm sorry but I don't remember his name).
