We heard about Matt and Standard from our daughter who has lived in Manhattan for many years. We just moved here and had many questions about the various systems in our new home; furnace, A/C, sump pump, gas lines, gas fireplaces, water filter, water softener, hot water heaters, dryer ductwork. Matt showed up on time - very important to me. He was friendly, interested and knowledgable about everything. He answered all our questions clearly. By the time he left, we knew what our next steps should be and how to ensure that everything worked as it should; now and in the future. Paul was on time, friendly and looked professional. He also physically showed me what was wrong with the system instead of just guessing and telling me what it “might” need. This made me much more comfortable seeing the issue with my own eyes. I had several other companies come to inspect the furnace, and none of them put this effort into actually diagnosing the problem and I believe I would have overpaid for improper work if I went with them. New Years day and a big flood in 3 areas of our basement. Your employee was so pleasant and took care of the tree roots so that all we had to do was a residual clean up with bleach. We have been Standard Plumbing clients for 15 years. We have stayed with this company for this length of time because they are always competent, courteous and professional.

My furnace went out overnight and I called Standard in the morning. They were able to send someone out at 1pm that day to come look at it. Dalton was there on time and was quick to fix the issue. We scheduled annual maintenance for our heating and cooling system. A problem with the water heater was discovered. Standard Plumbing diadema us aware of the problem. We were given a quote and work was scheduled for the following day. The service was excellent. The attention to putting on protection to their feet and laying covering on the carpets was done without being asked. Chris and Dalton installed a high efficiency furnace, a-coil and condensing unit at our house shortly after we purchased it. The job was done quickly and properly and everything looked very professional. We have used the guys from Standard for installs at several of our properties and they always get it right the first time.

We had what we thought was a plumbing issue but the plumber came out took a look asked some questions and knew we had a septic tank issue! He told us he could work on our clog but without first getting our septic tank emptied he wasn't going to really be able to do anything for us. I choose to dump the tank first and that was all we needed! I am so thankful that they didn't charge us for things we didn't need when they could have! They are now in my phone and on speed dial, the next time we need a plumber or I hear anyone talking about needing a plumber I will be telling them call Standard Plumbing Heating and Air! Mark was out today to do our 6-month inspection. As is the case with all the Standard techs I have met, he was courteous, technically proficient and exceptionally professional. In short, Marc is a tremendous representative for an outstanding company. Service like this is why I have been a Standard client for years and why I will continue to trust these professionals to take care of all our Heating/AC and plumbing needs.
