Very satisfied with *****' service. ***** was to install a replacement Thermostatic Expansion Valve ---- previously stated to be the problem with our AC unit. ***** assessed the situation. It was his determination that the replacement was not necessary. Rather, he made an adjustment to the current TXV which resolved the situation. This action (on his part) saved us the cost of purchasing a new valve. We were obviously happy to have money savings. I enjoyed visiting with ***** ---- very personable. And we shared some common interests and experiences. Just a very pleasant conversation. All in all, I would rate ***** at the top --- 5. He has a long and vast experience in the heating and ac arena. I like to express my sincere appreciation to Standard Plumbing for the excellent work from the point of explaining in terms I would understand, the size of furnace and air conditioner my house would require, and steps they would take during the installation, Dalton was extremely helpful during the entire process. The three employees Dalton, James, and Paul were courteous, and completely cleaned up during the installation and after completed. I have finally found a plumbing service that is about their customers, they will have my business from now on.

I called this organization when I found I had problem with very old heat pump. I had hoped it was a thermostat issue, but we soon found that the issue was far more serious--the elements in this 30 year old unit were not functioning properly and had an issue with relay as well. Due to parts not being available, the age of the unit and the likelihood that this unit would completely fail in the near term, opted to replace with new. Dalton thoroughly explained issue with this old unit and did his best to find reasonable price for top of the line replacement. He and James W. worked hard to get the unit properly replaced and connected, program the new thermostat and haul off old unit, then returned with additional materials next day to make sure the ductwork connections were completely weatherproofed. I'm delighted with service and professionalism of this organization. Dalton M. was my contact and replaced heat pump package unit after finding my 30 year old unit was not repairable. He was prompt, professional and gave complete explanation of what he found wrong and replacement recommendations, as well as looking at possible future work recommendation. He and James W. replaced 2.5 ton heat pump and programmed new thermostat in a single day, came back with additional material to be absolutely sure connection with ductwork was weather proof. We both appreciated very much that ****** replaced the motor on our furnace. It has always been very noisy and that is what alerted him that something was wrong. It was by warranty. When I asked ****** about what faucets he would recommend. We replaced two in the bathroom and and also kitchen faucet. Woke up on Sunday morning with no hot water! I called the 24-hour emergency number listed in the newspaper, spoke with Chris, and was given a flat-rate estimate for same-day (after hours) service that I thought was fair. We have 99% satisfaction with Standard and all its employees over the years (since 1981). When our central air unit conked out after many years of service, there was no question where we would go for the replacement. We took their advice and bought a Carrier. Installation by ****** and ***** ***** on 7/21/16 went was carried out without a hitch. To date, we haven't had a hint of a problem, and that's been five months. I'm really tired of the word "awesome" to describe things like a 99-cent burrito, but "awesome" accurately reflects the truly excellent service we had from James W. He arrived on time, put on his booties, and went to work. There was a lot to do. The humidifier didn't work and needed to be replaced, but the bigger problem for us was the original thermostat. It was a programmable model that had all kinds of week-long heating & cooling options--but NOT an easy way to simply adjust the temp up or down! James installed an easy-to-understand Emerson unit that was just what we had hoped for. We were amazed that he was able to finish his work by noon.
