David was on time as scheduled. Got right to work and did an excellent job at explaining everything at the end and informing me of possible future issues. He laid out possible fees associated with those future repiars and what to look for as that part slowly stops working as well. Standard was able to send a tech out same day I phoned due to a small but significant issue with plumbing. Thanks to Dalton's request for a photo of issue, problem was properly diagnosed by phone and Matt was able to solve the issue in a short time. James and the other technician were very courteous and professional during removal of the old/installation of the new air conditioner and furnace. They were both very helpful in explaining how to operate the new thermostat and made sure to clean up once the project was completed. Schedule updates were provided at the end of each day and they did a great job of staying true to their schedule. We appreciate their being so knowledgeable about the new system and their hard work! Jim came exactly on time, was friendly, professional and easy to have around. He explained what he was going to do with my plugged dryer vent, and the hoped for outcome, but was honest about issues we may have run into. Fortunately it went well! He knew what to do for my dryer vent and worked with it until it was cleaned to his satisfaction and mine. I highly recommend Standard. So far, so good. Chris and his sidekick came out this afternoon at about 1330, diagnosed the problem, and went off to get parts as they didn't have what they needed in the truck. I was assisted promptly over the phone by Erin in the office. She was very courteous and professional - and was an exceptionally good listener; she processed all the information I provided quite well. Worst install ever! They did next to nothing I asked them to do. I now have to hire another company to fix what they messed up. I will never give their number to anyone asking for a heating system. Initially I was concerned about having to replace my heating, air conditioning and water heater. My concerns were unnecessary after talking with Dalton and having all my questions answered. Dalton and Marc arrived on time and began work. They kept us informed and completed the work without with no major issues. Once completed Dalton explained the system and showed us the operation of the new smart thermostat. We had furnace, AC/heat pump and hot water heater replaced by Dalton and Marc. All I can say is these guys were outstanding. They arrived on time and immediately set up and started to work. They maintained a clean work area and kept us informed of each phase of the work. When finished they made sure all of our questions were answered and that we completely understood how to maintain and operate our new system. First: Standard is THE go to place for your Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning needs in this area. They are thorough, professional, trustworthy and excellent in every regard. You don't need to worry about getting killed when the invoice comes though remember you are paying for the best. He was extremely knowledgeable, and helped explain the "why" I was having issues in my home, and the "how" he was going to fix it. He had my issue resolved in a matter of minutes, and was extremely pleasant to work with. Technician arrived on time, respectfully put booties on over his shoes prior to entering my home. Went over what he was going to do for the furnace servicing, then did exactly that. Once cleaned and tested, he also checked CO levels and other off-gassing from the furnace to ensure the limits were nil or within limits.
The only recommendation I'd provide is when visiting a customer's home, park the company vehicle on the street, in case oil or other liquids spill onto the customers driveway. If you've got a long driveway, ask the customer where to park.

James came over to help me find a filter on my furnace, and found it right away. It was in a place that was definitely not expected and even difficult to get to.
He took a look at both of our furnaces (one on main level and one on the second level) and told me the age of them. He proceeded to tell us about the program to have the units checked twice a year and the costs involved. He was very thorough about what all was involved in the service calls and that there were no extra charges for weekends, nights, or holidays.
We determined that this program would be a good fit for us and called the office to set the first check appointment.
We look forward to working with James n this way.

******** did a thorough job servicing my furnace for the fall/winter/spring cold weather. He was pleasant to me and friendly to my dog. My only gripe is that he did not put the hose running from the dehumidifier back into the drain, and I had some water on the floor later when I went back into the utility room. Nothing major.
