I had Mr. Rooter come and quote a new hot water tank on a Sat. Josh S. Came right on time and provide a solution to my problem. He was great! He provided great knowledge and skill. Josh from Mr. Rooter did an excellent job of diagnosing the reasons behind water seeping into our basement floor--and quickly and efficiently replacing the non-functioning sump pump in our newly purchased older home. After trying to solve a clogged sink-washing machine drain issue, I called Mr. Rooter about 8 a.m. The technician, Tim, arrived about 1:30 p.m., which was within the noon to 2 p.m. window. He came in, accessed the situation, got his power snake and fixed the problem. It took two times to use the snake and he was able to clear the drain. Emergency!! Back-up from all basement floor drains while running washing machine. Called a local plumber and was put on hold for over two minutes. Hung up. Called another and was told they don't do drain cleaning. Called Mr. Rooter and got same day service. YAY! Nate arrived as scheduled, introduced himself, assessed the situation, brought in his equipment, and went to work. Found and removed a massive glob of tree roots then went the extra step of doing it again with a larger blade (just to make sure). Came out clean. Nate packed up all his tools, cleaned the area, told us (for the third time) about the 30-day guarantee, and was gone. We so appreciated having this situation fixed so promptly - and on the eve of a holiday weekend, no less. Having a friendly and efficient professional do the fixing was great. Thanks. John arrived 3 hours later than the latest agreed to time, however the office was in constant contact regarding the late arrival.
My greatest concern centers on John's inability to diagnose the problem of water leaking from a bathroom directly above the kitchen.
As a result of his misdiagnosis, he cut a 6"x6" hole in our kitchen ceiling without finding a solution to the problem. He called his manager to get the expertise needed:
1) The manager quickly discovered the problem of a faulty water feed to the toilet that was leaking - - no hole in the ceiling was necessary.
2) I had to ask for consideration of the initial bill of $200 for the ceiling cut, but the refund was made without complaint.
3) I am still left with expense of hiring a dry wall contractor to repair the ceiling hole, an initiative that never needed to be taken.
4) I agreed to the invasive nature of the ceiling cut, but only after John assured me that there was no other way in which to diagnose the problem.
5) The problem was obvious to the more experienced manager and totally elementary to professional plumbing. 05/21/17 |

Nate Wallace really served me well. He arrived on time, was polite and professional and a pleasure to work with. I called the company (after seeing them advertised on Home Advisor) about a slow draining kitchen sink. I feared the worse -- a broken/collapsed drain line outside of the house, which would have meant a very costly excavation bill. Nate [Tim and an excavation guy] explained the scenarios: the worse would be that the drain line was broken and we'd have to excavate; the moderate would be clearing the drain and then power spraying it to flush away all the build-up on the sides of the drain pipe; and the best would be clearing the drain pipe. I opted for the clearing only. Nate was really great. He got to work and cleared the drain. Then he ran a camera through the pipe and while there were some tree roots, there wasn't any break we could discern. While the service was a bit pricey [ which is why I give 4 stars and not 5 stars], Nate was absolutely great! Now the kitchen sink drains perfectly! Nate W. 05/17/17 |

what I was told. Was that they were going to need to climb up on my roof and run a power snake down the roof vent. Even though he knew there was a clean out place in the basement. he said the way he would fix this would cost about 800. dollars plus. I called brunny plumbing they went in the basement run power snake 20 mins. later he was done. it cost me 254.55 05/16/17 |

Once again, I am so happy with the service I received from this company. I have used them several times in the past and they were the first ones I thought of when I began having issues with my sump pump. Martin was very professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. I had called Monday morning for service to my kitchen sink. They were extremely busy and kept me aware of this situation every 45 minutes after the service time I was quoted. I decided to cancel the service and reschedule for Tuesday, May 2, between 4 and 6. At approximately 1230 I was notified a service rep was available, Adam arrived within the time scheduled. The service was extremely professional and he was very informative as what he was doing and the cost. He cleaned up and left my kitchen in wonderful shape and the sink pipes were opened. Tim from Mr. Rooter was very helpful throughout the whole sewer blockage experience. He and his team worked extremely hard to unclog the pipe. When it became apparent the clay pipe had a "belly" and there was a crack in the pipe as well they scheduled the heavy equipment as soon as they could get it to the site.

I have been using Mr Rooter for over 10 years and have never had a bad experience. Today we needed a new hot water heater and some other little repairs around the house, including outside faucets. I have mentioned that we are moving in the next few months and Nate let me know that one thing that will not pass inspection was the downspouts. He got them fixed along with everything else and saved me another call/day with the plumber. He took his time, called in reinforcements as needed (the old water heater was a little heavy!) and didn't leave until everything was in good working order. I had so many issues addressed in one visit...and had a coupon from the last time to use!
