I had a 1-3pm window on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 and I scheduled the time off work to be home for a new toilet installation. Mr. Rooter called at 1:30pm to inform me that they were running behind. Not a problem. They called again at 3:30pm and said that they were looking for a technician to send me. At 6:30pm they called yet again, and said that they were STILL looking for someone. They suggested they could send someone instead on Thursday. I told them that i have to work and it was a huge inconvenience of my time and that I would find a different company. They insisted that they were still attempting to get someone out here that evening (Monday). Needless to say, the toilet is still sitting in the middle of my living room and I never heard from Mr. Rooter again. I have used Mr. Electric in the past and had good experiences. But I will NEVER recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone. What a horrible waste of time!!!! 03/01/18 |

From the moment he approached my door on a rainy day, bringing his own mat to wipe his shoes, and booties not only for his feet but for the wheels of his plumbing snake, Adam was thorough. He carefully evaluated all my drains, answered every question, opened the clogged drain, and completely cleaned up every splatter and drip from the snake. I had occasion to use Mr. Rooter a couple months ago at the Reynoldsburg Masonic Lodge I belong to. They are the only sewer cleaning company in Columbus that warranties its work for significant periods of time. The work was scheduled quickly after the problem was identified and a plan for removing the sewer blockage and installing an outside cleanout was developed and quoted. Troy made some recommendations that would save us some on going maintenance and costs. The work was completed in a prompt and professional manner. Thank you Mr. Rooter for a job well done. I have used Mr. Rooter Plumbing twice and have a good experience both times. Chad went out of his way to make sure the job was going to fix the issue and make sure it wouldn't happen again.

I was scheduled for an appointment between 4 and 6 pm on January 18, 2018. Although they were in contact with me over the phone to apologize for the repeated delays, the technician did not arrive until 3:30pm on January 19, 2018. He was at the house for less than 45 minutes and I was charged nearly $500.00. Price gauging? I was charged extra for having a crawl space which he may have been in for 5 minutes. He used my electricity to thaw the frozen pipe. He was not friendly. Did not offer much help when questioned about how to prevent it happening again. I will definitely not call them in the future. Ridiculously high priced because they know people are desperate. Nothing that was done took any time or training. I could have done it myself if I had known where to look. Keep in mind, this is New Years Day 2018. No hot water because of suspected bad element and I couldn't drain the tank. Was given an appointment time of 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and Adam arrived at 4:45. He had no magic trick to drain the tank but with a minimum of water loss he quickly took out the bad element and inserted the new one. Not exactly what I expected or wanted but Adam did what he could based on my circumstances. He was personable, professional and very knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Rooter. They called to let me know the technicians were running a little late. Then called again to let me know the tech was on his way. Martin was very pleasant and friendly. He diagnosed the issue, gave me a quote to replace the pump in the toilet and completed the work. Martin explained the invoice and the warranty. Prices seem high. They worked with us. However this morning (Christmas Morning), I just discovered a problem we never had before. We have lived in our house 33 years. My original appt. was for 10-12 Noon on Tuesday. At 2:30, I called and cancelled for Tuesday and scheduled for Wednesday between 9-11 a.m, and was told that since Tuesday did not work out, that I would be put at the head of all appts. for Wednesday.
