We feel we were taken advantage of during our plumbing situation. We were charged $619.00 to clean out our sewer. We were told the tiles were broken and needed repaired. This was the third visit for the same problem. After charging us $11,000.00 and excavating into our yard in two places we find out the tiles were not fixed. Mr Elswick came out to view situation August 22. He only said the drain looked good and clean. I am sure the $619 appointment was responsible for that result. The excavation was only to put in a clean out for their convenience for the next time they had to come out. even though we told them we had one just inside basement wall. If the problem had been fixed we would not need another time. We are seniors and feel we were a easy target. Have not heard a word from Mr Elswick or any adjustment to us being charged for nothing. I'll wait a little while longer for a result before contacting "6 on your side". 08/31/17 |

Having purchased a new washing machine, upon delivery of same it turned out that the hoses connections to the water lines were rusted and thus could not be removed. It became necessary to call a plumber to fix the problem. I called Mr. Rooter and within hours, Chad was dispatched to my home. He is everything a customer can wish for from a service provider. Within a short period of time, Chad had fixed the problem. I can only highly recommend Chad and hope that, should a need arise, it will be him who is being dispatched to my house. TIm was very easy to work with and explained the procedure in simple language and wouldn't leave until we came to terms that made sense for the work that was proposed. We tried six plumbers based on recommendations before we found Mr. Rooter. Everything was wonderful from beginning to end. Scheduling was easy and their fees are very reasonable. Everyone was very professional. Our tech, Aaron, was fabulous. He was courteous and professional and he was able to hook up our new master bathtub that turned into a project. Tech told me warranted for one year. Receipt says 6 months. Big old mess in my house. Not much clean up. But did offer assistance with more than was necessary. Things got done in a timely fashion. But maybe a little to fast. I asked to view the camera after the line was cleaned was told ok. While I was getting an estimate for possible future repairs I didn't get to view the camera and all was put away. Job well done I think. General knowledge of possible fixes to my problems was explained and understood. No one likes to have these problems but when they do happen it's hard to please anybody. I did like how fast the service was and from what I saw was pleased. Thanks for letting me watch and talking me through the process. The estimate I received seems fair also. It was nice to get the same person to do the plumbing work! (Josh was here a couple of months ago to fix the toilet.) He located the apartment easily because he was here before. I felt like this was one stop shopping for me. Josh came and gave me an estimate the day I called Mr. Rooter.. He came the next day to replace the water heater. Work was done quickly. We had a garbage disposal and new sink installed in April by Josh. He did an excellent job, was courteous and punctual. Several weeks later we received a recall on the disposal as being a safety hazard and they sent a new one. Josh, to the rescue. He returned and disconnected the faulty one and installed the new one. We have been having issues for a few years with our sewage and have had to have it snaked every year. This year it was really plugged, and we called Mr. Rooter last Friday morning. By 3 pm they were here to snake out sewer line and they ran a camera thru our line to see what the issues were. After a lengthy discussion, we decided to have a new sewer line installed inside and outside. 5 guys showed up at 9 am this past Tuesday, and everything was done by 9 pm. 3 guys worked outside digging trench and installing outside drain line. Troy ran the trencher and did a marvelous job getting it dug and 2 younger guys laid pipe. They were done and everything cleaned up and they were out of here at 2:30. Inside we had John Simon and Tim Smith. They had to cut out all the old pipes (original 1955) and install new pipes through basement and garage. They were determined to have running water and flushing toilets\ when they left, and we did. They all did a wonderful job - in 1 day. They were all friendly, professional and efficient. Martin S was my Plumbing Service Technician. He gave me the estimate on Friday and we agreed on Tuesday. He was here on time and 12 1/2 hrs later he were done. I knew it was going to be a very large job. All areas cleaned up and everything works great with no leaks. Martin checked over everything and explained what he did and why. He even picked out the new bathroom faucet just based on my description. I love it and it matches my shower faucet!
Martin was very professional and polite and did not run out of energy going up and down 3 flights of stairs in my house.

Fast friendly service from Tim and the man who was with him from Cleveland (cant remember his name). After the install of the new clean out we were left with a huge mound of dirt. I know their options are limited with that but had they ran the backhoe over it it would have mashed it down a lot more than what we were left with. Adam came to help find out where our leak was coming from under the sink. He knew within first five minutes and fixed it. He was very knowledgeable about his work, explained things and answered any questions asked. He was a very nice and polite young man.
