I recently had a leaky a/c unit that was flooding my basement. I called MSP and they sent a tech out right away that same day! I was so thankful! Ricky fixed the problem but also explained to me what needed to be done and why it was happening so that I could easily understand! He was fantastic! Very pleased with the service he provided! I had MSP come and install a new Air Conditioner and Furnace and I could not be happier with this company. We've had several good experiences with MSP Plumbing Heating Air. Our most recent was with Mike Anderson, who was professional, friendly, personable, and courteous. He made some friendly conversation, explained not just the work that should be done, but tips to continue to care for the system well. The dispatch and receptionist we spoke to while scheduling and arranging the appointment gave off a positive attitude as well.
Update: Our most recent was a burst pipe, fixed by Nick G. He was also pleasant and courteous, efficient and informative.

Minneapolis St. Paul Plumbing, Heating & Air replaced my daughter's air conditioner and furnace. MIchelle is disabled from a car accident in 2005 and lives independently in her small home in Richfield, although she is at risk because of her balance and mobility problems; she walks unsteadily using a walker. Jason B. Was the first employee to come to the house and he did an understandable explanation of the freezing up of the furnace.... It was a solid block of ice. Because of the disability issue, Jason called a second employee to confirm the diagnosis and show me the options. They contacted Wells Fargo using the iPad and got a loan for 0 percent for one year. THe next morning a crew showed up to work all day on a successful replacement. They worked with my disabled daughter to show her how to work the thermostat and she said they are her HEROES! Requested diagnosis of water leakage from furnace. Very thorough inspection with pictures, despite Center Point's assurance that everything was in great shape and "this furnace will last for years." We made the decision to replace rather than repair the furnace. Air conditioner was replaced at the same time with a good price break. Very good company. I see whey they have been in business for so long. Jeremy P. was our Service Expert. What a great, friendly man. He came earlier than expected (and yes he did call that he was on his way as I was told by the office the day before and on the morning of the appointment that he would- this was greatly appreciated as I had the day off and was able to enjoy time with my daughter who was also not working this day) He explained everything he did and also told me about my salt water appliance setting was not at the right setting and corrected that. He also explained my water number was 48 (not great-quite high) He found out it was not my plumbing that was leaking (yeah !) but that the problem was coming from my dishwasher and that more than likely that appliance would need to be replaced (boo ! ) Jeremy did a great job and went above and beyond what needed to be done and for that I appreciate all his help. He is a great asset to the company. I also want to thank Megan for her help. We had a coupon we wanted to use if any repairs needed to be done. Unfortunately my husband forgot to leave the coupon at home. I called and spoke with her on the phone and she stated no problem that he would add it to the work order and let Jeremy know. Ricky L just left our house after doing a very thorough inspection of our 28 year old air conditioner! He was very kind, making sure to put on shoe booties before entering our home, even thought I told him it was not necessary. With an ac unit that old, you can expect that things would look bleak; however, Ricky, presented what he found in a very professional, non-pressured fashion. I had an A/C tune-up scheduled yesterday with Brian A. He spent 4 hours inspecting and cleaning the A/C and furnace to find the heat exchanger was cracked and there was some corrosion. He was very thorough and noticed many things, then gave me all the options of how to proceed. I ended up ordering a new furnace and A/C, since mine were both 13 years old, and it would cost more to repair both than to buy new. Brian A. 05/19/16 |

Joshua A & Kou did a wonderful job installing my new Carrier funace & AC. Joshua arrived on time and promptly went to work dismantling my old furnace. When Kou arrived with the new units, the professional coordination displayed left me confident that my money was well spent. After the install & testing, Joshua showed me how to operate my new environmental control system worked. They also did a great job cleaning up after themselves. Bruce Anderson came to my home just to do routine maintenance on my hot water heater and to advise me on repair for a leaking faucet. He was right on time & very professional. He noticed that I had a leak in my water softener that came from a cracked pipe I didn't know was there. We talked about it & he offered several less expensive options which I appreciated. I chose to have him take care of it & the hot water maintenance & my leaky faucet. He was very well organized so I was not without water for a long time. He worked quickly. He replaced a new water connection, & emptied the water softener & had another guy help him get it out of the house. The water faucet problem was difficult to repair but he was able to stop the leak. There was a manufacturing flaw that made the handle wobbly which couldn't be repaired but I was satisfied that it wasn't leaking. He did a fantastic job of taking care of all my problems even with the surprise issue of the water softener. I am thankful he saw it & helped me to get it out of my home because it was definitely a bad problem. He was a very competent plumber. I dealt with Mike Anderson and Joshua A and Don the engineer from this company. All were exceedingly pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. In addition to a service call and installation of a new air conditioner they also assisted with rectifying a service problem from several months ago. For the most part, the experience was positive. The technician was very knowledgeable. The negative aspect had to do with their pricing structure. They charged me $179 to clean the coils on my air conditioner when all you had To do was hock up a spray bottle that retailed for $17.25 to a hose and spray the Coils. Scheduled for 8am-10am. Received a call at 7:45am letting me know they were on the way. Showed up at 8am and wrapped up by about 10:15.
Walked me through all issues and provided a detailed and appropriately technical explanation of concerns (along with pictures).
Clean, courteous and professional.
Appreciating people's time is a lost art and worth so much more than saving a couple $'s.

We were concerned we needed a new water heater after the pilot went out. Called on a Sunday and was able to get an appointment first thing on Monday morning. Nick G. arrived on time and was prompt to get to work. We were fortunate that we didn't need a new heater and Nick was able to get it going again. He provided wonderful advice and an overview of the system (which I admittedly didn't know much about). Nick G. was really personable and friendly. I've done business with this company several times over many years, most recently a furnace replacement, various plumbing upgrades, and an a/c checkup. The techs are prompt, explain everything, and don't rush the job. And they are knowledgeable--no small thing when it comes to dealing with a hot water heating system. In the process of selling our house, we had a few plumbing issues that were noted on the buyer's inspector's report. I sent out a dozen emails to various plumbing companies around the Twin Cities, and the quickest and friendliest follow up came from Minneapolis St. Paul Plumbing, Heating, and Air. As good as the customer service was, the service provided by Jeremy, the technician who helped me, was even better. He was polite, friendly, considerate, and did a great job of not only taking care of our problems, but also explaining them thoroughly. Recently I had my entire mechanical system (furnace, air conditioner, water heater, humidifier and air filtration system) replaced by the guys at MSP Plumbing, Heating & Air. Their estimator Brian was polite, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He quickly prepared an estimate, walked me through the entire process and timing of the installation, then after I accepted it got the whole project scheduled. Clint and Joshua showed up on time first thing Monday morning and stayed until the job was completed and tested thoroughly. It was a long day for both of them but they worked steady and efficiently throughout the day and the resulting system works great. I'm very pleased with the work they did on my home and would highly recommend MSP Plumbing, Heating & Air to anyone needing similar work done on their residence or business. We called MSP today because our air conditioner wasn't working right. Kenny answered my call and was very pleasant to talk with, and he was prompt about scheduling our appointment. The technician Mitch arrived within the agreed time frame. He was friendly and polite (even though I'm sure he had already been working all day). I was so happy that he was able to diagnose the problem and get our system working again. Kenny and Mitch saved the day for us! Now I wont have to spend another night with awful sleep in a hot house. I will be recommending this company to our family and friends.

We had Mike A. out for a complimentary inspection of our furnace and AC which were installed about a year ago. He was fantastic! He spent a lot of time with me showing me how to change the humidifier pad, checking the return & supply vents, and how to properly use the thermostat pad/screen.
