I recently had my first experience with Lancaster Toyota's Service Department and Service Advisor, Lisa T. From the time I made the service appointment until I got my car back - the experience was most professional, the work was done in a timely manner and I was kept abreast of the service work at various intervals throughout the process. I had purchased my Rav4 out-of-state and upon returning home, a friend had bragged to me about the good service of Lancaster Toyota, so I decided to give them a try! Toyota invited me to leave a review so I here I am. Pretty good communication from Gavin. I appreciated the text updates, complete with videos of the technician explaining what work was done. However, upon picking up my car, I discovered it had significant scratches on the driver’s side that were not there when I dropped it off. The manager came out, assured me it wasn’t their equipment that caused the scratches, then applied something to make it look better in the moment. By the time I got home, the scratches were back to being as visible as ever. So be forewarned that your car may leave in worse shape than when you dropped it off and Toyota will just shrug it off. WOW! We've been dealing with Lancaster Toyota for seven years now and they consistently continue to impress us with quality, professional work. The staff who greet us, the waiting area and staff, the cleanliness and now this year they provide a video of the work being performed on the car. Pete Bruchez is an excellent customer advisor, with a no pressure technique that leaves you feeling stress free. The car was worked on in a timely, professional manner with a detailed explanation of all the work performed. We purchased a 2020 Corolla for our daughter.Our car salesman was Paul,very nice guy.Paper work went smoothly.My only complaint was once he handed us the keys my husband noticed the gas gauge was on half a tank,he asked why it wasn’t full.And Paul’s response was “They don’t do that there”! We’ve leased and financed through local dealerships and EVERYONE of them always made sure the car was cleaned and had a full tank of gas.To say the least that was a disappointing excuse/response,whatever you want to call it, this was our first time purchasing from Lancaster Toyota. And I must say I’ve felt my business was appreciated much more from local dealerships than here.I sure hope Lancaster Toyota’s motto isn’t “ We don’t do that here”, if so I prefer buying elsewhere.Just my opinion. I Bought a 2020 Corolla,Paul Andino was our salesman. The transaction went smoothly,very nice guy.But have one complaint, once we finished all the paperwork he handed the keys to us.Right away my husband noticed it only had a half tank of gas.My husband questioned why only half a tank, after putting a nice down payment you Atleast expect a full tank!! Paul’s response was they don’t do that there.My husband and I financed and leased cars through many local dealerships nearby and EVERYONE of them made sure we had a full tank of gas upon leaving.That really shocked us and was disappointing, this was our first time dealing with Lancaster Toyota, and I’m sad to know that they don’t fill the gas tank up for their customers after doing business with them. I am the least mechanically inclined individual ever, so when the tire light flashed on my dash I immediately drove to Lancaster Toyota where Travis checked the pressure and decided that something was amiss. He had the mechanic take a look, turns out it was a corroded tire valve that was leaking so they replaced it right there and then (no appointment). While Travis was explaining all this to me, I mentioned my state inspection was probably coming up, so he checked and made an appointment for next month to have that taken care of. The Sales person who helped me K. Flichman was great. I needed to get a Toyota Platinum Highlander with a tow hitch. However it was not an option on the Platinum due to a sensor to open the rear hatch. I tried other Toyota dealers and all they could do was an add on after market brand hitch. After about a week Kathleen along with Manager Jason were able to figure out how to put a Toyota factory hitch on my car. This was not an easy problem to solve but working with Toyota they got it done. I was able to get the car I wanted and can't say enough about these people. Thank you Thank you!!!
