Thomas Wainwright - The serviceman showed up, advised that he found the problem and fixed it. We paid $225.00 to have the unit fixed. Shortly after he left the A/C unit started malfunctioning again. We called to report the problem...only to be told it would be another $80.00 service fee to come out again. We declined that offer. We were then contacted by the home office who said they would waive the $80 service fee. The same repair person showed up and advised my wife that his tester sometimes does not detect properly and that was the case this time...so the unit would need a new compressor. This should have been the point where the repair person realized they misdiagnosed the problem and advised the customer that the parts the homeowner were charged for, didn't fix the problem. The repair person should have then taken the parts off and refunded all but the original service $80.00 service charge. The repair person offered no such solution...and missed a big opportunity to right their wrong. Working in the insurance industry and having countless opportunities to advise insured's on who to use for service work and who not to...I will not advise they use Jennings. 07/11/16 |

Once again superior performance from Jennings. We have used Jennings for years and years. They do our yearly maintenance on the furnace and air conditioner. We have had them install a replacement air conditioner and a replacement furnace. Unreservedly happy with their performance. This visit was no different. The technician found and corrected the problem quickly. Jeff S. is knowledgeable, neat, friendly and efficient. Glad he came today. On an earlier service call the technician could not isolate the problem. He mentioned in the maintenance report that the problem was still outstanding. Technician was on time, neat, polite and friendly. Seemed knowledgeable. There was (is) a rattle that the technician could not locate/eliminate. He informed me that he would be including the rattle information in his report. I do not know if Jennings will follow up on this or if I need to contact Jennings for resolution.

Shawn was on time and did his job well. My central air conditioner is old (23 years old). It is failing and in need of expensive repairs. I decided to have Jennings give me a quote for a new one. I will probably wait till July to have a new one installed. Thank you to Shawn who had to give me the bad news. He explained and showed me the problems. I made the decision to get a new one after he left. He did tell me the cost of the repairs. However I know it is better to replace it as I saw rust both outside and inside the unit. I highly recommend Jennings. Their staff is very courteous and professional. They called in advance to let me know Greg B.,the Service Technician, was in route to my home. When he arrived, he checked the entire air conditioning system, fixed the problem, and also made some recommendations to avoid future issues. My tech was great! For everyone wanting to know, their "company policy" is to wear booties when they come in your home. And the exterior air conditioning unit itself needed a significant amount of cleaning... I was worried that wouldn't be covered under the coupon I was using, but there was no hassle there. On time and introduced self. They called ahead on my home phone first, but I missed the call - so they called my cell phone to verify they were coming out. The technician introduced himself and was very friendly. After he had worked on the central air he walked me through the maintenance he performed and then showed me some safety areas of concern in our house. The technician was very knowledgeable and was able to explain things so I could understand. We have used Jennings for years. We love the loyalty programs and would highly recommend them to anyone.
