Ryan J, was extremely professional and thorough with the task of fixing the garbage disposal leak. He also took care of clogged sink pipe in the bathroom and informed me on how to keep the pipes from getting clogged. Great info to know to prevent clogging of pipes in the future. We had the pleasure of having Ryan as our technician to handle our
plumbing problem. We were in bind as we were having guests from
Australia visiting with us for 4 days starting Tuesday and we were without
hot water in the two bathroom showers. Ryan methodically went about
troubleshooting the situation and eventually came up with a solution to
solve the problem requiring him to rebuild a control because the manufacturer has since discontinued that particular unit. With out Ryan's
assistance we might still be without hot water

We needed help with leaky garbage disposal. Ryan from Dutton Plumbing came and took care of it right away. Very professional and thorough. Took care of clooged pipe in the bathroom sink, simply out of the goodness of his heart. Figured out the problem with fire pit in the backyard, once again out of the goodness of his heart. Brett P and Tyler dug out and capped a buried gas line at a city Public Works yard. They saw-cut and jackhammered asphalt, then dug down 2 feet to reach a joint and place the cap. This was a physically demanding job that took a full day. Both guys were great. They worked safely and efficiently, and never complained. They also cleaned the work area thoroughly afterward. I called Dutton based on a Yellow Pages ad. They were able to set up a time the same day. Unfortunately, the crews were held over on a previous job, but the dispatcher called to inform me of the situation and we set up a new time and day. They arrived on time and got right to work. I had more work for them than I had first indicated and they took the changes all in stride. Yes, it did cost more, but I expected that because it was more work. They gave me an initial estimate and when they encountered complications, they let me know about it and we revised the estimate. By the time it was over, they had rebuilt part of the bathroom floor and replaced the toilet and rebuilt another. I am extremely satisfied with the quality of their work and their commitment to doing the job correctly the first time. I would have no hesitation about calling them again if there is something that needs professional attention. Keep in mind, plumbers are not inexpensive. I have used Dutton plumbing a couple of times now, and unfortunately for me it always happens on the weekend and right when we're getting ready to go somewhere. At any rate, in both instances we were very pleased both with the service acumen and professionalism of the providers, our latter instand was with Kevin, the first with Brian. Despite the prices being a bit inflated relative to other companies, and perhaps a reflection of the weekend call, you're not surprised by the cost as they are very diligent in outlining their intent and explaining what goes into the service. Dutton is awesome. A while back, I had a slab leak. They sent Ryan to the rescue. Ryan was clean, courteous and a great technician. I say technician and not plumber as he wasn't just some monkey twisting a pipe. He diagnosed and properly repaired the problem. Dutton Plumbing's service specialist, Brett P., was very competent, diligent, resourceful, careful, considerate, courteous, informative and honest in resolving my plumbing issue. Brett was able to remove an improperly installed SEVERELY STUCK cartridge valve for my shower/tub. He replaced it with the correct cartridge valve and properly lubed it. The shower is working great now with no dripping and with MUCH better water pressure. The showers are SO MUCH more enjoyable now!

Brian was very helpful both to my landlords and to myself in terms of what specifically was wrong and the options to handle it.
