Needed a plumber on a Saturday when I was unable to correctly install a temperature/pressure balancing cartridge for our Kohler single handle master shower. The thought of no water until Monday was very concerning. We called Dutton because we had previously seen their trucks at several neighbors’ homes. The dispatcher at Dutton was understanding, gracious and called back well within the 20 minutes she indicated in our original call for assistance. When a plumber became available several hours earlier than originally estimated, we appreciated the call from the dispatcher to confirm we were home. The technician, Matt D., arrived on time, was courteous, clean, and knowledgeable regarding the cartridge. He explained the process clearly. Matt impressed us by placing booties over his shoes before entering our home, placed a commercial grade floor mat on the shower floor to protect the travertine, and completed the installation quickly. He even polished the trim ring on reinstallation. 05/10/15 |

great service. one comment. if the technician needs to leave to obtain parts and is gone for more that 30 minutes, 1 hour....what ever you deem appropriate, have the technician or dispatcher call back and let the client know. service was already amazing...just an option to up the service even higher than it already is. In addition, he didn't up sell anything, and in fact saved me money by fixing my garbage disposal unit instead of replacing it like I was originally prepared to do. My phone call this morning was handled by a very friendly, helpful lady. Matt arrived with his coworker on time. They were both very friendly and helpful, with good explanations of what the job required. It was a leak in our outdoor sprinkler system. It was a big job that required the removal of a huge root ball before the leak could be located. They worked hard all day. It was a messy, difficult job that they handled efficiently and professionally. I was extremely pleased with the entire experience and have added Matt D.'s name in my address book.
