We had a leak under our kitchen sink and called Dutton as we had used them for another issue in the past. Brian S. arrived right as scheduled and got to work. He did a walk through and checked out other items around the house to ensure there weren't other issues. After some suggestions, he gave a quote way out of our budget for now. So we focused on the leak.
It started out as a small, easy, not overly expensive fix, but quickly compounded into several other issues, which was not fault of his. Though the final,price was far more than we wanted to shell out, we needed the problem fix. Throughout the process and all the twists and turns, Brian S. was professional, patient and friendly. He spent a long time at our home, but made sure the job was done correctly and there were no more leaks.

As an added bonus, Andrew took time to clean the tile and wall once the old toilet was removed - something that I thought I was going to have to do myself! My garbage disposal was completely busted(and starting to smell) so I had Ryan out from Dutton Plumbing this morning and it was awesome. He arrived on time(which is great since I had to leave for work as soon as he was done), and after showing him the offending GD gd, he and his partner Drew were ready to start the work right there. They quickly got the old garbage disposal out and were able to replace it with one they had brought with them.
I had considered spending a Saturday trying to replace it myself with a buddy, but after watching Ryan work, I am quite glad I went this route. He was finished quickly, tested everything for leaks and for functionality, and we were all set! And now I don't have to spend Saturday laying under my sink with a laptop open to youtube "How to replace garbage disposal, an idiots guide". Ryan J. 09/30/15 |

Dutton Plumbing gives great customer service. There was a leak in a pipe for our tankless water heater, and Dutton Plumbing got to our house on a Saturday before noon and fixed the leak and took out the bad part of the pipe at no charge. Larry was at my house today to fix a rattle in my water supply. As he inspected he noticed that my problem wasn't the water supply, but the pressure regulator. I also had a problem with my water heater that I had planned on replacing for some time now. His work was clean and quick. Terrific company. Up front with their charges and their service personnel are extremely well-trained and friendly. Matt D., the technician in this case (a simple repair for a bath item and a new fixture install), was a really friendly guy and knew his stuff cold. Dutton may be (depending on the job) sometimes be a little pricier than other plumbers, but their professionalism and completeness more than make up for it. The company responded to my request for help in a very short order and was able to send a plumber to my house within an hour of my call. After returning from vacation on a Friday night our Gardner left a note that there was a leak and water was turned off to our house. What initially impressed me about Dutton Plumbing is their timeliness in both the return initial call, (individual was very polite) and the accuracy of the arrival estimate as to when plumbers would arrive also considering it was a Saturday ( no extra charge.the initial service fee seemed reasonable.
Servicemen were polite very professional, Matt D and assistant Mike. Observing their work they were efficient, courteous and pleasant. Even had long non plumbing discussion.
I have no problem what so ever with the job the servicemen performed.
The problem I did have is that I was unable to get some detailed breakdown of the work to be charged since the company apparently has predetermined costs based on an item used not quantity. Example - apparently copper pipe $850 charge for 5 feet with fittings as far as I would be the same for 10 ft. ( PVC would be only $82 less ?? So I chose copper)
Total job $1357-d/c $190 = $1167) I mentioned this was rather high however I had little choice at that time, my plumber had retired, no water for a weekend , if it wasn't for the exceptional professionalism of Matt (who seemed that it was out of his control re charge breakdown) I agreed to the job.
Hoping to review the above, mainly to determine if this was a one time charge issue when considering future service by Dutton.
