Bryan C from Dutton Plumbing came to our rescue today! Our plumbing was clogged - affecting 2 bathtubs, 2 toilets and 3 sinks. We called Dutton plumbing and Bryan was at our house in about an hour! He assessed the situation and flushed the lines. Another field team member came to help thread a camera through to find the problem. Unfortuntately, we got an estimate for a big job that needs to be done but we were aware of our home's plumbing issues and were expecting it. We had a leak under our sink as well as a mysterious leak immediately outside our house. I was able to call Dutton Plumbing and speak to a live person to schedule an appointment the same day! No trading emails or playing phone tag. It was $39 to have someone come out and determine the problem versus local SCV plumbers that charge $100 just for the first hour! The appointment was originally from 4-6 p.m., but David was in our area and checked to see if he could come earlier. I showed David the two areas, and he immediately went to work to find out what was wrong. He was very courteous and professional at all times. It seemed as though it didn't take long for him to find out what was wrong, and he provided recommendations that fit our budget. He was very understanding and answered my questions in a friendly and not condescending manner. It took him about an hour and a half to resolve our problems to our satisfaction, and he didn't leave, until he was sure we were okay.
I can't think of any negatives with David and Dutton Plumbing and will most assuredly give them a call the next time we have an issue. They are very responsive, provide clear communications, and costs are on a project basis (not an hourly rate that can quickly escalate to big $$$), so you definitely know what you're getting. I called these folk.s because they were local. I had a kitchen drain clog and I did not want to wait a couple of days for my home warranty to send somebody out. Dutton only cost $4 more than my deductible and they came out the next day. Romiro was the plumber that came out and he was very nice and knowledgeable. I discovered a water leak in my Slab on Super Bowl Sunday. Steve from Dutton came out and turned off my water to avoid more issues. On Monday - 2 slab leaks were discovered; and I had my whole house re-plumbed and upgraded. Steve was my saving grace -he clearly outlined the process, expertly completed the work, and actively managed all the sub contractors. I was very pleased with the service and the fact that an email was sent to me prior to the technician arriving with his picture, name and a short bio. He explained what he was going to do, and explained my options and the mechanics of everything even drawing a picture for me. As a single senior woman I really appreciated this. Nick G is a super professional guy with tremendous amount of patience, courtesy and knowledge. I wish most of service guys and gals are like him. He takes tremendous amount of care and listens to the customer. He is persistent and won't quit till he fixes the problem. I have used Dutton in the past, and called them out to help with a bathroom sink fixture that had become sticky and difficult to turn. It is a high end fixture, and was a bit tricky--but our service tech Elias H. was able to remove it carefully and replace the cartridge without damaging the fixture. All good now!! I had Bryan C. Come out to "snake" a drain pipe that went from my backyard to the front of my house. Although he was honest in pointing out all the tree roots that were probably blocking the pipe, he still tried to do it at my request.
