I am still waiting for a quote for a proposed job at my site. I was supposed to get it this morning and still haven’t received anything. I am sure your service is outstanding but it’s hard to rate if I’ve asked for a proposal

Our water usage has been increasing for the last 4-5 months so I called the Water Dept. The first thing suggested was o put dye in the toilet tanks and see if there is leakage. We did so and there was. Cummings had done very satisfactory work for us in the past and they quickly responded to replace the flush valves in two toilets. While here, and in further checking, they determined that the meter had a slow turn indicating a leak inner system somewhere. It is probably beneath our driveway as other homes our development have had the exact problem. An estimate was made and given us and we have immediately contacted our Home Insurer re the problem. It's now in their hands, but Cummings (and William) have done a commendable job in easing our minds about this issue.

Estimate for work: $800 Diagnosis; Plumbing work. It all seemed suspicious; we declined service wnd cslled another plsce that diagnosed the problem correctly and took 30 minutes to correct the situation; $50, if I recall correctly. .

I had a total house repipe due to polybutelene water pipes. The Cummings crew, Ed, Jarreth & Leroy were absolutely wonderful, very professional, trustworthy and knowledgeable. The drywall crew they subcontracted however, I think it was Arizona Installations or similar, were not. They were 4 days late, made a huge mess with the texture (did not cover my things), and a shoddy job with some of the openings. Cummings remedied by sending their supervisor and their finisher Mark who is a professional and was able to make them blend as best they could be. I do recommend Cummings for re-pipe BUT make sure the drywall crew that shows up is from Royal Renovations as promised in my quote. From what I was told the other crew was new, messed up some other houses and is no longer being used by Cummings.

I thought the cost was very expensive for the time spent, but I am finding that repair services are a lot more expensive here in AZ than my home state. I am very pleased at the speed and quality of service from Cummings and all my neighbors recommend you!

Very nice guy! No idea how to fix my old unit, and said so. I asked if maybe it could be soldered & told him I had tried it unsuccessfully. He attempted to repeat what I had tried (using my soldering iron-his was too big). I was told on the phone that charges would be made clear to me beforehand. He charged me $60; the amount for annual servicing of a furnace. I got NOTHING for my money. Won't use you again.

They came out the day after I called, and Jake fixed 5 out of 6 problems and told me how to address the 6th issue. Very pleased.

I asked for a quote for the replacement of two water heaters. ****(?) arrived on time and looked at the two sites, explaining what work would be included in the quote he would be preparing. He then quoted a price which was later confirmed by email. He was polite in every aspect of our meeting. Unfortunately the price he quoted was the highest of the three quotes I had received and the job went to another company.

After work was finished we reported the smell of gas in our garage. We reported this and a service person arrived and after finishing his work reported that he could find no leak. A day later, after the continuing smell of gas in our garage, we called TEP who responded immediately. They found a leak in the work done on the recently installed water heater and a leak in furnace piping located inches from the water heater leak. Because I was so disappointed in the failed work of the Cummings technician I called to cancel the service contact I had signed days before. Kevin wasn't available on Friday afternoon when I called but he called the following day. I explained what had happened and he acknowledged that it was fine for me to cancel the contract. I was a bit surprised that Kevin did not even offer a mild apology for the inconvenience.

When I was given an estimate, Jake and I discussed running the gas line through the attic and agreed to do it that way. When I got the bid there was no mention of the attic option. When I told the installer he said it had to go outside the house. I called Jake personally and he denied agreeing to run the line in the attic. Then the electricians knew nothing about installing electrical outlets. Did it wrong twice. I feel that Jake was dishonest and the electricians were untrained. The heater installer was top notch. Knowledgeable and competent.

The reason for a "7" on total satisfaction is that Jake said that when the job was complete our yard would look exactly like it did before the job was started. This was not the case. Plus, our sidewalk was damaged as were a couple walk lights. One large rock was not returned to it's proper place. Yard gravel was less in amount. We had to comment on all this in order to get the yard looking more like it had before. Leroy was a tiny bit defensive about it. We informed him that we had a city inspector coming to check our sidewalk. When he arrived Leroy was here but he did not have the courtesy to let us know that the inspector was here so we could talk to him. Leroy talked to him then waved the inspector's business card in front of me without sharing it with us. The crew came back and worked at making the yard better, however, they brought some gravel to fill in our yard and started putting it down without asking us if we were OK with the color of it. We returned to the house to find this work in progress. We didn't like the match and told them not to put anymore gravel on the yard. The sidewalk was resolved after the crew power washed it and we determined that the sidewalk would look worse if it was ground down or replaced so we decided to live with it. The plumbing work was very satisfactory. It was the yard redo that was bad along with the damage to the sidewalk.

I wanted a pan under the water heater. I wasn't watching Joseph close enough to make sure a pan was provided until too late. As the water heater is set up now, a future leak would not show up until water leaked into the house. Also, Joseph had to come again to stop a gas leak from water heater connection.

The tech arrived after the appointed time but was professional, had all necessary supplies to remedy hot water tank replacement, cleaned up, and completed job within 2 hours.

Slow flushing toilet. Needs a snake. Next thing I know we are pumping the septic and have a proposal that starts at 1500.00 a day to replace the sewer mainline to the house. Hmm, I put 4 ounces of vinegar in the toilet tank, the calcium build up is gone and the toilet flushes fine now. Water not entering the bowl fast enough. So 700.00 for tech advice and pumping plus $1500 to start on the next step - not good. The tech should have tried the simple step of adding 2 gallons to a slow flushing toilet to see if that was the problem instead of going to defcon 5 for a solution. Gee whiz that is a huge amount of money I do not have for guessing on a solution.

We have used Cummings Plumbing for several years, bringing them with us when we moved. On Dec 1st, 2017 we had them out for a clogged line. I was informed that it would cost $468 for this service. Cummings had been out before to do the same service and it was less than $200. When I questioned the high charge, I was told that they now charged a flat rate and for $468 they would unclog the line no matter how long it took. I was uncomfortable with this arrangement but agreed because I felt trapped. I was sitting in a home where everything was clogged, there was contaminated sewage in both toilets and both bathtubs. I needed to get this taken care of and to call another plumber at that time was to sit in that condition for I don't know how long. So I accepted the price. But I felt like I was being held hostage. In my opinion this is blackmail and or coercion with in most instances is a crime. The whole procedure took less than an hour, including putting a camera in the lines. I don't know what has changed at Cummings Pluming, but I feel as though they have no integrity. Being a senior citizen and on social security it is difficult enough to come up with money for unexpected events. But to be priced gouged like this is horrifying. Needless to say I will not be using Cummings in the future and will be warning my neighbors of their practices.

We were very pleased with Cummings Plumbing and especially Ken H the Field Specialist. Ken arrived and assessed the problem, gave us an estimate and completed the job in a timely manner. He presented himself in a professional manner and I felt comfortable with his knowledge and ability to take care of the problem. And although I'm happy to say he fixed the problem I'm most happy with the way he presented himself and he is a real asset to Cummings Plumbing!

Nancy S. Positive I contracted with Cummings Plumbing to replace my kitchen faucet and soap dispenser. I had discussed with their representative, ******, prior to the work. He make recommendations on types and brands of faucets. I purchased a Delta faucet and soap dispenser in advance and requested ****** to install them. He arrived promptly, was able to work around my undermount sink to remove and install the new fixtures. He completed the job in less than an hour. I was very pleased with his work.
