We had an untimely 20 yr old AC unit breakdown. CWA made it a high priority to fix and replace, during a holiday weekend (unlike a competitor). They were comprehensive and transparent in their assessment, and punctual. Their team was professional, knew their trade and friendly; all while working in 90 degrees on Memorial Day. I had some concerns after getting our new Bryant AC installed on April 17th. After having a good conversation with the General Manager (Matt) I feel that I will not have any issues going forward. The original installation process had some minor issues but they were resolved by the GM. I appreciate him reaching out to me to make sure that my concerns were discussed and that they will be resolved. His professionalism makes me confident that I can work with CWA if I ever have any problems with my heating or cooling. No one likes to hear your air conditioner needs replaced, but Columbus Worthington Air was fantastic through the whole experience. They helped me find the right unit for my budget and lifestyle. The turn around time to have it installed was one day, adn Rob and Zach were amazing. With two adults working from home and a child going to school, our day was not interrupted. I cannot say enough about Columbus Worthington Air and their great customer service. We had a terrible experice with our last provider and Columbus Worthington Air made everything right! They were great, and totally willing to swap out thermostat as I didn’t care for the round one. I didn’t notice it until after they had already installed it, so I felt bad, but there was no sigh or rolling of eyes, they had a different model on the truck and happily reinstalled it. Our furnace recently stopped working out of the blue, with no prior issues, during the COVID-19 stay at home order. Columbus Worthington Air was still able to come out the same day, diagnose the problems, work with my home warranty company and provide my options. They were not pushy at all about trying to get me to buy versus repair; they genuinely just wanted to fix my problem in whatever manner I chose. Ultimately, I did buy a brand new furnace, and they sent a team out the next day to install it.
Adam and Steven, the installers, were excellent. They were on time, efficient and professional. In fact, they took some extra measures, like replacing the blocks my furnace sat on with rubber pads and rerouting some in-the-way piping, that they didn’t have to to raise the quality bar even further.

The technicians Adam Slone and Steven were courteous before and on arrival to my home. Adam was careful to focus in on the job at hand and gave me reassurance all would go well. He was open for questions if there were any from me. The techs worked cooperatively with one another; team effort was evident. 1. final cost: There are 2 final prices which vary by several hundred dollars. I would prefer the lower cost to save some $.
2. a couple of minor items. The circuit breaker for 1 circuit was lefy "off.": Fortunately I found it and made the correction.
2. The outside ac unit is too close to the basemnt "Bilco" door. Even 4 or 5 inches would make a difference.
3. confusion about the thermostat. I wanted to use the one I had but was told "not possible." May not be the right answer. 02/26/20 |
