My new A/C unit was not cooling my condo below 82 degrees. Fernando found a setting that was needed to be set in order to keep my unit operating properly. Whatever he did was perfect. I am comfortable at 72 degrees again, and everything seems to be working fine now. Thanks, Fernando. I will request you if I ever need help.

Job well done Jason + Keith!! These two guys worked as a cohesive team to achieve the ultimate goal of installing my heat pump system into a oven baking attic. These guys kept me update with the work as it was in progress. After finalizing the hardware the technicians ensured that I was comfortable managing the system. I'm now able to enjoy my second floor of my home again. Thanks Jason and Keith!!!

First, their technician Tim M. deserves the highest (five star) rating! But my experience with Blue Dot was generally unsatisfactory. Making a long story short, Blue Dot installed a new heating/ air-conditioning system for me in January 2015 at a cost of $7200. They had to return within days to re-do some electrical connections, at a cost of $143.00 -- I had no heat. In early May, when I first turned on air-conditioning, the outside pump didn't work. From that time until June 10 five technicians were sent to my home. The first four failed to fix the problem: the pump would run for about 15 minutes and after they left would shut down. Two of them told me the TXV valve was defective and should be replaced. The fourth technician said he would advise company to order a new valve. On May 30 because of lack of follow-up by Blue Dot, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I made an appointment for June 9 for a tech to come with the new valve. I waited all day, but no one showed or contacted me. The next day I telephone the company national headquarters, who succeeded in lighting a fire under Blue Dot. Technician Tim M arrived in the evening, immediately diagnosed the problem correctly, told me valve was not defective, that refrigerant pressure was way too high because at the initial install in January someone had made a "bad mistake" by putting way too much refrigerant in the pump! Apparently much care must be taken in cold weather in this respect. Tim also adjusted the air flow inside my house for the better. Air conditioning has worked perfectly since Tim's visit. It's my impression that other technicians were inadequately trained "preventive maintenance" techs who don't know how to troubleshoot. Blue Dot may be over-extended. Technicians tended to arrive late, considerably after the customary 4 hour time window given me by the company. And the failure to show on my June 9 appointment was inexcusable. I wish Tim all the best in making changes to Blue Dot's service; they need more people like him.

Shawn and his helpers were very courteous and professional. They treated my home as if it were theirs, using boots and drop cloths. Shawn worked beyond his duties by going up a ladder to install my air conditioner. He gave me tips on the system's care.

From the first phone call to final installation, everyone I encountered was very helpful and professional. We got off to a great start when I called at 9:30am to schedule an estimate, I was told someone could be here by 11:00am. At 11:00 on the dot, my doorbell rang. The installation techs were quick, thorough, and cleaned up after themselves. All in all, it was a pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Kevin, Will and Tony arrived at my home at 8am, they were very professional, started working immediately to replace my heat pump and furnace. They answered my questions, after the installation they stayed to assure that the system was working properly and they cleaned up the work area removing all trash. Before leaving Kevin gave me information concerning the system, definitely will refer Blue Dot to friends. Thanks guys for a job well done!

The equipment install was fine but the installers didn't put down plastic or canvas so they left dirt and mud on my carpet and hardwood floors. Also, Will installed a carbon monoxide detector on my upstairs wall without first asking if I was okay with him drilling holes into my wall. The instructions on the detector say it can be placed on a tabletop and I would rather have it on a table than mounted on the wall.

Dogged expense bullet! Service tech. recommended $729 part and labor repair on A/C unit. Really wanted to replace unit. Got estimates from BlueDot from $6,000-$9500. Ordered part online for $42 and had electrician install for $100 within 20 minutes. That was close.

The installers, Don and Justin were great. They arrived on time!!!!!! When the job was complete, they conducted a walk through with me to explain the new system. Jeff E. & Ryan W spent the entire day at our home replacing AC, coils, and installing air scrubber. It was not an easy job but they were great. They did an excellent job, explained everything they were doing and discussed all the aspects once the job was finished. The cleanup was awesome...looked better than when they started. hated to put very bad, one star, under mike w. he has been the only redeeming feature of blue dot recently. our last dealings with blue dot were sub par to say the very least. mike w was fantastic. he did whatever was possible to come up with a solution to give us some relief from the heat. he went way above the normal call of duty. he should be praised by your company. blue dot is lucky to have him. no i am not a personal friend and no he is not a member of our family.

After a though examination of the unit, Mike then reviewed with me some of the possible circumstances which through time, may have resulted in my AC’s sub-standard performance as well as some of the available corrective options ranging from a simple replacement of parts to replacement of the entire air conditioning unit. I found Mike to be a very easy person to talk to and his ability to explain a complicated situation, was well received.
