I received an email stating the business had replied to my complaint. I went out of town the next day, and then when I returned to reply to the email, I was told it had been resolved. The reply from the business was actually untrue, and none of my complaint has been resolved. I canceled my cable with the company because I could no longer afford it (which was the original complaint, a bait and switch) and yet the business said my cancelling my service resolved the complaint, and BBB said it was resolved. Not at all helpful, nor true.

It seems to me that if the BBB had any clout then my complaint would have been resolved. Unfortunately, the Denver Post continues to have mixed performance when it comes to delivering my paper every day. And when they miss a delivery instead of giving me a refund they just extend my subscription by a day. I do not want my subscription extended, I want my paper or I want a refund. Simple? Yes. But the Denver Post cannot seem to do that. They have sucked in all respects ever since they gained a monopoly when the Rocky Mountain News folded. What a damn shame.

The complaint process is very user friendly but it is not always accurate when the business that I filed against was apologetic and agreed to refund most of the money that was wrongfully charged but in fact has done nothing they promised. The complaint should not be considered closed until the agreed refund is settled.

My complaint was that CenturyLink was sending me unwanted junk mail. Despite my requests directly to CenturyLink and also via the BBB they are continuing to send me junk mail including today. I consider the BBB to be just part of CenturyLink and of no help.

BBB seemed to believe everything the business that cheated me had to say, but didn't take my comments as seriously. As such, this was a complete waste of time and added to my frustration. In the future, I will not contact BBB but, rather, will post my experience to consumer websites (Yelp, etc.) to warn other consumers of disreputable businesses.

While I was informed that the BBB had received my complaint, there was no follow up after that. I was not asked if my complaint had been resolved to my satisfaction. In fact, subsequently, CenturyLink has continued to send me promotional materials even though I received an email from someone there stating that my address had been removed from all mailing lists. I intend to follow up with them on this.

I found the folks at the Denver BBB total "five star" in attempting to resolve a serious, criminal issue with a travel agent located within their jurisdiction. While she ultimately refused to come to the table for arbitration, I feel the BBB staff made every possible attempt to assist me in recouping my funds in a peaceful manner.

The initial review resolution process was disappointing, to say the least. All they did was pass messages back and forth between me and the business. In the end, they marked the dispute resolved, even though nothing had been resolved. The business still had an A rating and no indication that anything had gone wrong. When I asked why we had not moved on to mediation, which I had been told was the next step, they said we could have that if I wanted, and reopened the dispute. The mediation went very well and we were able to reach a mutually satisfactory settlement. So the result was fine, but the process was slow and painful.

I have not been contacted even one time since the initial complaint was entered on 5/16/17. I have no idea what has been done or if anything has been resolved. If you are going to ask for a survey when no one has been contacted, the response will nto be a favorable one.

I am an honest man... Centurylink had been deceptive in their dealings with me and I asked for help through the BBB. With all documentation submitted showing proof of their deception, the BBB sided with Centurylink. A very sad day for consumers. It appears you give more weight to businesses than you do consumers.

Pro: The BB process helped me get the attention of the business. Con: Where BBB process falls way short is in accepting the word of the business that they will fix the problem and closing the case without waiting for verification that the business actually followed through. In most cases If the business kept its word to begin with a complaint would likely not have been filed.

Nothing at all has been done, there was nothing done but a forward of the letter I sent to BBB. I have already sent it to the business, if that was all you were going to do, I already did it and it did not help at all. The business now ignores every communication with a response of "we know it is you , so we are going to ignore you" so nothing but more trouble came of it. I don't understand why people should come to you if you don't give advice or help.

I feel like I have no recourse for bad players. Its unfortunate that crooked business people can get away with stealing from little old ladies. I just hope and pray that no one else is being cheated out of their hard earned retirement money.

I contacted the business a second time Isuggested by the BBB and was yelled at by the business representative for contacting BBB.The business owner is doing nothing. What a joke and time waster.

The BBB was contacted by me on Monday and the problems were resolved on Wednesday. I am very pleased with your service and the timely manner in which it was done. If you are going to be a company to try to help resolve a complaint then I would suggest requesting evidence. You just chose the Dealer's response without even requesting any evidence of their wrong doing and just took their word.

The company I complained about you attempted to contact twice and when they did not respond you gave up and closed the file as unresolved. What good are you to the consumers who are being cheated. Your not supportive of the us who are being cheated by the companies taking our money and providing us with poor service. Shame on you.

Sadly, the BBB got the same run around from Century Link that I get...they only admitted to overcharging me the first month. They ignored the complaint about all the other months that I have been overcharged. Nothing was resolved. I don't know what good it did...if they know you won't do anything then they don't seem to care.

In my opinion, the BBB is a joke. I made a complaint against a company for false advertisement of a vehicle. I had facts and lots of documentation to back up my claim, while the company never even addressed my claim, was very unprofessional, and could not provide a single form of documentation to back up their responses, yet the BBB sided with them.

I still have yet to get a response from BBB. I typed my my complaint and am still waiting to hear from BBB. So there was never anything done about the matter.

It seemed like BBB decided it was resolved simply because the other party said they would resolve it. They have said that to me many times, and have not resolved the issue or even contacted me. So it should remain unresolved in my opinion. I am disappointed in BBB for that.

Business not accredited. Unfortunately, Dish Network is not an honorable business and doesn't care about people's problems with them. I know this from the huge number of unresolved complaints compared with positive resolutions. BBB isn't worth much when the business doesn't care enough about its customers to become and stay accredited.

The company that I complained about never responded to you. You website still shows that this company has zero complaints. That is untrue. Your website reflects an A+ rating for this company. That is not true. They did not respond to your inquiry, nor have they even tried to correct the situation with me. They are horrible to deal with and people should know that. I checked their rating on your site prior to using them. Your information is misleading and I am now fighting with them. I would not have used them if I had any idea they were like this. I relied on your site and got a bum deal for it. How many other complaints do they have that your site does not reflect?

There was one message back and forth, and then it was closed out. They said it wasn't their issue and it was corporates, but I have since reached out to corporate, and they informed me that all dealerships are independently operated, so the issue needs to go through the dealership. There was virtually no communication facilitated through this process, and it was closed out without allowing me a response.

I understand that a resolution is not always possible but nothing, good or bad, occurred from this transaction with BBB. Basically, it was just a waste of time. I still have unreliable phone service that leaves me without 911 often and spotty internet.

I sent my complaint e-mail on 05.04.2017 and received e-mail from bbb on 05.05.17 saying that my issue routed to bbb Denver, Boulder office then nothing, just nothing until service survey request a-mail. Thinking that bbb found my issue worthless... Fikret Kuran
