BBB did not resolve the problem. It appears BBB is pro-merchant. It appears BBB is not there for consumers to whom merchants take advantage. What a shame!!!!

I was having a difficual time resolving issues with a vendor for our business. After exasperating all other options I felt the need to contact the Better Business Bureau. Within 48 hours the vendor had contact us and offered a solution all due to the initial contact by the BBB. No one likes to resort to these measures and should do everything they can up to that point but I was very impressed with how fast the issues were resolved in favor of both our company and the vendor too.

FROM MY FACEBOOK & GOOGLE POSTS: As the result of a move that was all but disastrous, I registered a complaint with the BBB which was transferred to the Cincinnati, OH office. Initially, the interaction and responses were timely and questions were answered. I was then assigned Ms. Gail Sherman as the BBB representative. Minimal support was provided nor was any action taken to resolve the matter by her. Through various emails, I was informed I needed to supply additional documents and information in addition to the 45 pictures and email communications I had with the movers. I made numerous calls to her at the number provided in her emails as hers-(513) 639-9148-and sent multiple emails for confirmation as well as to ask questions (gsherman@cincinnati.bbb.org) and, as of today (5 March 2020) I have YET to receive any direct replies from her!!! It's sad when an organization which is intended to assist consumers can't-or WON'T-respond to the questions or concerns of those they are "supposed" to represent and assist. Based solely on MY experiences, if you file a complaint through the Cincinnati, OH office and obtain Ms. Sherman as your liaison, I would STRONGLY encourage you to request someone else. Your Company did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Company like yours is always going to let these big company take money from low income people. I looked on line and it thousands of people complaining about these big plumbing company NOT doing the job right. They are charging very little to start a job but when they are half way done, it's always a bigger problem you have and it will cost you a lot more to have it done. They tell you there is a problem somewhere where there isn't a problem. When you don't give in to there high price they leave your pipes wide open and they tell you that you will have a problem in the future. If you leave a pipe wide open underground it will be a problem in the future. Foundation problem, smells and gnats. THANKS FOR NOTHING. I will tell the news papers that the bbb is a joke and they do nothing for low income people.

This is great place I love BBB they are always here to help. If not for BBB the big corporation's would eat you alive and you never no where to go. Filing a law suite is very expansive big corpoartiones no that. With BBB when you file they are scared to lose their rating so they always try to work something out and BBB always there to help.

I am very satisfied with the Better Business Bureau's handling of my complaint with the company that i had an issue! I have used information that the BBB has had posted online in the past to make decisions on the reputation of companies. I have been glad to have had such information available in which to make my choices! Thank you very much BBB for your help in the past and your current efforts in resolving my issues!

I had 2 major issues with a local nursing facility. Both issues involved the facility's refusal to reimburse my love for financial damages incurred with living at the facility. I contacted reported both instance to the BBB. Thanks to the BBB, both issues were resolved in a relatively short period of time. I sincerely believe that without the assistance of the BBB both issues would not have been resolved.

Poor customer service. As long as whoever you are complaining on has bought their membership, you’re wasting your time complaining. They will do everything in their power(the bbb) to take the companies side. Even close your complaint without notice or any way for you to respond. Very sad all it takes is a paid membership and they let whoever screw you over... I trust google reviews more then ANY bbb reviews. You can’t buy your way in with google reviews...

My deep gratitude especially to Emily P., and also to other employees of the Better Business Bureau of Cincinnati who helped solve my dilemma. My frustration was reaching a peak after several phone calls and letters over a period of a couple months to a local supermarket where I purchased a gift card for a retail store. My receipt proved I paid for the gift card at the supermarket who insisted they sent the money electronically to the retail store. The managers of both stores showed no empathy for my loss, nor any interest in resolving my problem. After contacting BBB of Cincinnati, the BBB got the issue resolved and the supermarket reimbursed my money. In addition to my deep gratitude to the employees of the BBB of Cincinnati, I hold a deep respect for them. Thank you so very much BBB of Cincinnati!

With the assistance of the BBB, they have helped me to resolve a few issues over the year, no different from the most recent. I do believe without them, there would have been no positive resolution. They are a great mediator. I would highly recommend them if you are having issues with resolution from a business.

The lady at BBB was very helpful in doing her best to help resolve my complaint with what turned out to be likely a scam artist, but without any regulatory/enforcement power all she/they can do is act as an arbiter between parties and when one party doesn't really care or "fear" the BBB there is little they can really do if the business isn't BBB accredited.
