Not very helpful in the complaint process. Not sure how but I wasn't notified about the company's responses until after BBB had closed the complaint and I never had a chance to reply. Needs updating on how you are notified of reposes. maybe sending a text notification as well.

The problem is they don't do anything. You complain and whatever happens the business you complained about always wins as long as they reply. There are no repercussions to the business you complained about. They are therefore useless. You are better off using ripoff report sites.

Incredibly positive experience with this BBB branch. The agent assigned to my case was quick, thorough, and reliable and helped me procure a refund against a predatory online business housed in the Cincinnati area. Even though I live out-of-state (Florida), this branch still helped a great deal. I wasn't sure how the BBB could help me, but now I realize what a great resource it is and how they can help consumers. Hopefully I don't have another issue that I have to contact this BBB branch with again, but if I do I'm sure they help me get it resolved.

I have been having trouble for months getting the runaround from a company who had said that they would do something that they didn’t do. I finally contacted the BBB and it was not long before the company fulfilled its promise. Thank you BBB!

As soon as the business that I had a conflict with learned that I had contacted the BBB, I received a phone call from the president of that business. I was impressed with the BBB's quick response, followup and closure once my conflict was resolved.

They said they were not going to take my complaint because it was about a hospital and was not going to post my complaint on this neglectful hospital. Warning others of bad medical staff is very important to keep others safe. I'm not sure why they couldnt post my review of a business so others can be warned as to how the hospital mistreated my mother. I have seen other hospital complaints on bbb website.

They have always been very responsive to issues. Unfortunately, we live in a society where people try to scam, cheat or treat you unfairly. I feel BBB does a good job being a middle company.

While the complaint was technically closed as it was outside of what BBB does, they still forwarded my complaint to the business. I feel like it was taken more seriously as a result of it having gone through the BBB. And ultimately even though they weren't able to work the complaint, they still helped resolve it.

I've been fighting a losing battle with a large corporation for over five years. They were in the wrong, but that didn't stop them from sending multiple collection agencies after me and filling incorrect reports impacting my credit rating. I was getting nowhere with this mess until I finally decided to ask the Better Business Bureau for help. The request was easy to make online. Within a couple of weeks the BBB was able to do what I couldn't in over 5 years! The company I was battling agreed that everything I've been claiming was correct. My account balance was returned to $0, collections stopped and a promise to correct the credit reports was given. THANK YOU BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU! If you have a similar issue, do not delay! Call in the BBB, you will not regret it! They do not charge you a single cent yet they are very effective.

I received quick answers to my problem from the BBB, although I have not had resolution from the other party as of yet. I can't say enough about the BBB. I did not think I had anywhere to go, but they were my answer. Thank you BBB, now I am just waiting .

They were helpful in contacting the contractor and stating my problem with the contractor but we were unable to resolve the problem so I must file a lawsuit against the contractor.

After Duke Energy refused to return nearly $700 taken from my checking account after numerous calls and a letter from my attorney, from January to October, BBB intervened. The amount was repaid by November.

I had a great experience. Until the business completes its promised part of the agreement, it's hard to rate this excellent (yet). If EADS follows through I would change my rating to excellent.

Didn't even investigate the sloppy work I was reporting, just sluffed it off and let it go, just another "Bureau" that doesn't care about people who aren't paying to be in it. I have $6k worth of bad concrete that has to be redone and now I have take them to court to do anything which will cost more. BBB does nothing but false reviews!

I purchased a tow truck off of Walker truck and trailer services in Indiana it took me 10 months to get the title I’m out of business now I did everything I possibly could to get a title and nobody would help from the state attorney it was an absolute joke now I’m out of business and have to find a different job no one was help so thanks for nothing Indiana
