After my complaint to the BBB they immediately acted on my case and contacted the company. Within a week I was compensated for the over-charge .

Lynne was gracious and read between the lines (both parties in dispute gave differing perspectives) to get us a reasonably just settlement and some repairs to our yard. Before Lynne got involved the contractor just kept threatening us with unreasonable & unauthorized extra charges, placed a lien on our property, continuously sidestepped their verbal & written word, all the while showing absolutely no desire to remedy our landscaping issues. Thanks again Lynne!!

What does the BBB do to help resolve a claim? for over 10 weeks the BBB passed correspondence back and forth between parties, then closed my claim as unresolved. THIS WAS A HUGE WASTE OF MY TIME. I still don''t understand what the purposed of this claim process is. I hope you use this comment on your promotional materials so others won't waste their time.

BBB was an excellent choice to help with settling the difference of opinion between myself and a contractor. The solution was arrived at quickly. BBB's on line form that I filled out was easy to navigate and understand.

Really, BBB did nothing except let the disputed parties know there was a dispute with each other, something we already knew.

I wasn't able to get a straight answer from a used car dealer on some fees I did not understand on the financing. After I wrote my complaint and the BBB sent it to the dealer they disclosed who to contact. Although I had to do the legwork I was able to get a refund of the $245 I felt I was charged w/o being told. Thru emails & a phone call to me the BBB rep really wanted to help me get to the bottom of this charge. Thanks!

The process was long an fruitless. It appeared the company was familiar with the process and used the extended timeline hoping the customer would tire and go away. The company now has a "NR" rating which is not accurate, it should reflect it's total disregard for honoring it's guarantee.

My correspondence was done through email and I feel there was cooperation from the BBB. They did not receive an answer to their inquiry to the wrongdoer so I'm exactly where I started - a financial loss to me and the wrongdoer is not even reprimanded let alone make things right!!!

I contacted the BBB concerning a account I had open with Rush Card. My problem was solved within 2 days. I will highly recommend BBB for any of my friends that has or having a problem with any consumers. Thank you BBB from the bottom of my heart. LikeShow more reactions

I didn't get the resolution I wanted due to other circumstances and timing, and I will never use that business again, but I was really surprised when I called and I very quickly got a call back from the BBB regarding my questions. Lynne was very helpful and knowledgeable about how I could proceed, and I really appreciated her help.

My complaint was not resolved but was never aware WHY. were you unable to contact the business or person in charge? Did he ignore your request? what was his response, if any? I feel I made the complaint was no details were provided to me regarding their reply.

Having no experience with the BBB, I was truly impressed with their efforts to resolve my complaint. Communications were timely and the mere mention of filing a complaint with the BBB caused TriHealth to quickly resolve all the issues I had at that time, with an inclusion to contact the District Representative should there be any more issues. It was amazing how quickly they wanted to resolve the issue when the BBB became involved. I'd give all concerned at the BBB a '15' for an overall score. Ronald K. Stratton

All personnel at the BBB were extremely helpful. Contacting them was like getting a shot of Demorall for pain, instant relief. After Emily contacted TriHealth, the district manager contacted me and suddenly TriHealth couldn't cure the problem fast enough and added this edict, 'If there are anymore problems, call me direct'! Members of the BBB certainly motivated TriHealth personnel to find a solution. My heartfelt "THANKS" to Emily and all others involved. Ron Stratton

Thank you BBB Cincinnati for all the help. Because of you guys I got my money backThe only suggestion I have is that the online page regarding your case has a clear button for sending back communications (I.e, my complaint was resolved but I could never find a corrrspondance button tort the bbb know that the company had resolved my complaint). Otherwise, you guys are great! Keep on being the superheroes for everyday consumers

After filing a complaint against a local merchant with the BBB my issue was resolved within 5 days. The BBB responded immediately, as did the merchant headquarters and a reasonable outcome was determined.

I feel that when receiving any Consumer Complaint with the BBB- if the Customer requests evidence on the Merchant's decision- it should comply, or if there are any "loopholes" on the Merchant's allegations- the BBB should be made aware of them especially having sufficient background knowledge with any Provisions of the Attorney's General Office that are related directly to the Consumer's Complaint & take the appropriate actions against the Merchant in question. Without this, then contacting the BBB will be extremely futile.

I thought the BBB would atleast see that the company had failed to live up to the guarantee. Not sure what good came from all of the paperwork. We still need to get a lawyer.

The BBB helped me resolved an issue quickly and effectively. I sold a Swarovski crystal collectible to The American Crystal Exchange but the company refused to pay me and ignored my emails for several months. After I filed a complaint with BBB, the company finally sent me a check.

I reported a major Dept Store for failing to honor their warranty on furniture. This has gone on for months. Finally, the store refunded the money for the furniture since it was damaged. BBB was very beneficial in solving the problem. I highly recommended contacting them if you need assistance.

It seems like as long as the business says they will do the work, the complaint is closed even though the work never gets completed. If the business has an A+ rating, the rating is not impacted even though the work has not been completed. So why even make a complaint in the first place?

Gail was thorough in her assistance. I provided additional information. I honestly didn't expect a response. In my opinion, the company owner takes extreme measures not to be found (not providing company name to place on community marquee to advertise business). Despite not getting a favorable resolution, I did receive a response. I am happy with Gail's effort.

I received an email saying the other side did not respond so case closed. I sent an email asking about my comments going on that companies record but I did not receive an email or phone call back.
