The install guys were great. couldn't be happier. they did a great job...we're on time - early actually, they were courteous friendly and after install walked me through everything to show me and explain everything they did. Its rare that the company that comes to your home goes the extra mile... but this is what happened when Arpis came to install our Lennox XC13 A/C unit.
It all began with their Project Manager who came to the house to scope the work. He almost refused to install the A/C unit until we fixed an issue with our air flow. So that's what he did.. he got it fixed!
Then when the technician came to install the A/C unit we were concerned that our finished basement would be wrecked due to the running of the cables ... but the technician took time to hide every cable without breaking any drywall. He also took time to make the outside cabling and pipe work look as neat and tidy as he possibly could.
When the City came to expect the work for the permit the guy was familiar with the techs work and gave me the impression that this is typical of their work.
For me Arpis treated my house like it was their home... and for me that is very rare from a contractor.
Oh.. and the Lennox A/C unit [XC13] does what is says on the tin... we love it!

The sales person came at the promised time and was very knowledgeable about the available products. I was impressed with his no rush approach taking numerous measurements and pictures for the project. Then putting it all together with different options and their prices to consider. After contacting Arpi's, we were very pleased that they sent out a representative to meet with us quickly, explain product options, and provide us with an estimate. The installation of the equipment was scheduled shortly thereafter, and was performed by two dilligent technicians who were very respectful of our property. House contractor had the coil installed by another HVAC company and I was not totally happy with their work quality. Arpi's sales staff confirmed the coil was oversized and had to be replaced. The original installation company said they could make it work. I had my concerns as the coil would be 1 ton over rated. Even with the cost of coil replacement the price was comparable. Installation was professional and on schedule.

The installer did not run the plumbing along existing bulkheads. Instead he ran the plumbing at 45 degree angles to save on costs. Now that we are finishing off the basement our contractor had to build around this resulting in added labour and material costs. Not to mention larger bulkheads. Spoke to a lennox-Arpi's rep about adding a new high efficiency Air-Conditioner at Costco recentley. The price quoted was great and within 30 days we had a Lennox air conditioner added to our home. We are very pleased with the service fron the dealer Arpi's industries. From the initial consultation visit to the clean and efficient install by ARPI'S crew and follow up by their office staff we were impressed with the quality of service and extended warranty. We contacted Arpis to have them install a Lennox air conditioner. An employee was sent out to do an estimate within a week. He was very thorough, and provided us with a few options to choose from. There was no sales pressure, or need for commitment that day. Once we decided to go ahead with the installation, we were booked in for service within one week. Two installers were sent out and arrived on time. They immediately got to work, were clean, knowledgeable and friendly. Everything was done within the time frame promised. My husband and I researched several companies and received quotes from three before choosing Arpi's to replace our furnace, humidifier and hot water tank. The quote provided by Arpi's was competitive, but it was the expertise they demonstrated during the quotation process that won us over. We had specific requests around moving the hot water tank and changing some of the venting. The Arpi's representative was much more knowledgeable about installation and codes then the other companies, so was able to respond to all our questions and address our needs. Given the busy season, we had to wait a month for the installation. During this time our old hot water tank failed and with one call to Arpi's we had a loaner hot water tank installed the following day. We were very impressed.
The installers that came to put in the entire new system were professional and respectful of our home (i.e. protected the carpets). Given the complexity of the job, the installers stayed into the evening until the entire job was completed. There was one small glitch with the installation of the programmable thermostat, but once again it took one call and the issue was fixed by the end of the week.

Estimator (john) called in advance to advise of time of arrival. Friendly and informative review of what options were available and made best sense for us. After 3 quotes, prices were very competitive.
The installers (John & Jim) arrived as scheduled - everything was going smoothly until the pre-fabbed sheet metal covering the condenser coil wouldn't co-operate. Two attempts at fixing it on site, then a call back to the shop to fab a new cover. This added delays to their day, but they wanted the install to look professional. What a great attitude !! Both of our new furnaces were installed in a timely manner and the installers went above and beyond explaining the installation to us. Right from the salesman to the end result we were nothing but pleased with our choice of hiring Arpie's to install our new furnaces. We required a new system after the flood, arpi's was very professional. they came to quote the unit one day and we had the quote the next day, we approved the work and two weeks later the job was complete!

We called Arpi's emergency line as we were concerned about the noise and smell of our 20 yr old furnace. Arpi did the initial new home installation so we called them first as we have had excellent service from them in the past. The response from the service tech was very fast and in the end we decided to replace the furnace with a high eff furnace due to the number of repairs req'd on the old furnace. within hrs an estimator came to the house and within 2 days we had a new furnace installed ! all the staff we interfaced with were very capable, knowledgeable and professional. I had a high efficiency Lennox furnace (model EL296UH070XV36B-05) installed September 2013 by Arpis and could not be more pleased.
The entire process from the initial estimate to the removal of the old one and install of the new was handled very professionally with no need for concern or worry on my behalf. The only bump in the road was that there was a managers rebate coming my way from this purchase, which again was handled with professional courtesy. Everyone at Arpis, from the sales people, the ladies that scheduled the install, the install team and to the lady that handled the rebate there, was constant communication from them to me, eliminating any need for me to do much more than call them back.
Whenever I have some work done on my home one of the major criteria that I judge that work is by the level of communication from whoever is doing that work to me. Arpis was excellent in this manner, making it a point to call me back in a reasonable timeframe the few times I had to call them, and keeping me informed on the process at all times as this progressed.
The final inspection from the city of this work was a breeze. When the city inspector learned that I had Arpis in to do this work the entire inspection was complete in less than 5 minutes. The inspector indicated that there was “rarely if ever any problems when it’s Arpis that has completed the workâ€.

We have been long time customers of Arpi's and have always enjoyed their thoroughness in the annual tune-ups of our furnaces and air conditioners. This replacement installation of two new furnaces, thermostats and a new water heater to current building code standards, while daunting (to me) at first, was executed in a professional manner, with a minimum of disruption. Very knowledgeable dealer. He did not push us to make the most expensive choice but told us everything we needed to know about the systems and our home so we could make the best choice for us. I loved that he explained why the more expensive models were more costly and how long it would take to see us re-coop that money in Airdrie. At first Arpie's seemed to be really knowledgeable and proficient. Their HVAC specialist quoted our furnace and hot water tank replacement quickly and with confidence. However, when it came time to actually do the job we ran into a lot of hurdles. The team had to completely rethink there original plan and left me worried the work couldn't be completed. Overall, a good experience. Arpi's postponed my furnace installation by about one week. That wasn't ideal, but turned out fine. Once started, the two-person team worked diligently to completion. The installers offered suggestions on extra ducts/vents to help improve the heating of my 113-year-old house. Calls to my customer contact sometimes had to be made twice. Went through Costco to have Arpi's install a new furnace. It's only been a month and we've had some freezing weather since then and the furnace has done great.
I would like to give them a higher rating but two factors keep me from doing so.
1. They didn't pass the city inspection initially (I'll find out later this week if they passed reinspection)
In my mind if you can't pass inspection, which is the minimum for performance standards there's a problem.
2. Price - for the price I paid I would have expected more professionalism. Don't get me wrong, they were far from bad, but both the estimator and installers came in smelling like cigarette smoke and the installers were quite messy. I expect some cleanup after having that much work done, but I had to clean and even take out some of their garbage wherever they had been. The young men sent to do the install, although they were eager and willing, were not familiar with the building code, and as a result the city inspection for the furnace installation failed. Follow-up visits by both the dealer and the city inspector were then required. I had used Arpis in a prior furnace installation in another residence I owned, and it went without a hitch.

The team who installed our A/C unit was exceptional. Not only did they provide excellent instruction on how to use the unit, but also rerouted and installed some plastic piping to redirect water from our humidifier which was already in place.
The lead installer also provided several other valuable tips about usage of our existing furnace and thermostat with our new A/C unit...
