Throughout the process of inspecting and servicing our two home furnaces the staff were pleasant, courteous, skilled and professional. Peter G. diagnosed several problems with one of our 20 year old furnaces that necessitated replacing it, and Peter C. helped us choose a replacement without trying to oversell including five years of free annual service for both furnaces. I can't say enough about how impressed I am with this company and the personnel. We had used a plumber located in our general neighborhood in the past, but it appears he is out of business. We saw a billboard advertising a special on drain cleaning so I called Anderson. Larry F. came to the house and explained every step of the work and thought process he used to determine the problem. He also provided guidance on how to best keep the water flowing as it should. Although I forgot to mention the price special to the dispatcher, Larry made sure that it was honored, and offered a free camera scope of the plumbing so we could determine what else might be needed. A very professional, courteous, and easy to work with employee, and that extends to the other folks involved in my call. I'm very happy to have a new "plumbing relationship" with Anderson and know that when I have issues in the future, I will be treated fairly and with appreciation. Bryan and Jake came to do our regular maintenance. We told them about a small issue we were having. They immediately went to work diagnosing and fixing the problem. Junior (technician) came to our home to evaluate our non functioning furnace. He was here several hours, and did great work in figuring out the problems, by replacing burned out circuit boards and other parts. When he left the furnance was working. He was concerned that something else might have been wrong. He called back in a few hours to check on its functioning, and by that time, it was not working correctly. He had suggested we consider evaluating the need for a new furnance, since we were replacing so many parts. We greatly appreciate his honesty and helpfulness with our whole situation. We did in fact, talk to an Anderson advisor the next day, which helped us make the correct decision in replacing the furnace and original duct work. We were unaware that the duct work was inefficient, and appreciated the information.
We now have a new furnace, with new duct work, which already appears to be more economical for us.

Joe and Brent, (installers) did an excellent job. To replace our furnace and duct work took two days to complete. They called before they came to let us know they were on their way.
Both were very courteous, and extremely careful with everything. They put on shoe booties while in the house, also they placed rugs and drop cloths to contain anything that might have dropped out of the old equipment. Additionally, they swept and vacuumed the area they were working in.
They answered all our questions, and reviewed with us all the furnace parts and thermostat settings.
We greatly appreciate their professionalism and courtesy. You don't see enough of that these days. They made a big job, a pleasure.

Vito tuned up and safety checked our furnace under the VIP annual service agreement. Since our furnace is still under the 10 year warranty I wasn’t charged for any parts or service that he replaced.
We were very pleased with the suggestions/reasons that he provided to us regarding cleaning our furnace and ac. He scheduled this to coincide with the June appointment when he will return for the annual ac tune up and safety check. We called Anderson Plumbing because we had a slab leak. Erik Egerstrom, the plumbing technician came out in a timely manner. He spent a lot of time looking for the leak and explaining everything to us. He recommended that we call a leak detection company, which we did. He followed up with us, and came out to give us a quote on repair. He worked with us on pricing and was very professional and honest about what we needed and didn't need. When he came to do the work, he and his apprentice got here at 9:30 AM and worked until 10:30 PM because he wanted to make sure we had water for the weekend. He then followed up after the weekend and finished the rest of the work. Erik was professional, very knowledgeable and best of all honest!! The drywaller and office staff were wonderful as well. Above & beyond
Vito is not only professional and courteous he takes pride in what he does and it really shines through. He takes his time making sure everything was in working condition, and noticed a few screws missing from an existing whole house fan which he even assisted in tightening (we kept hearing the rattling noise and it drove us crazy, thank you Vito!). Vito then explained things to us in words we could understand and didn’t use any of this technical terms. I would highly recommend Anderson Plumbing Heating & Air but would suggest you ask for Vito to come out when you need your furnace inspected, I know I will be request Vito for my quarterly service! * Maintenance change-out for the anode rod on my water heater. Reggie DeLeon (I asked for him specifically) - the same service tech who installed my water heater - came out and did the job wonderfully, efficiently and with great craftsmanship. Friendly and professional as always, a really fantastic ambassador on Anderson's customer front lines. He's now my "go to" guy for all of my plumbing related needs.
* Note: People like to bi*ch a lot about Anderson's rates. No, they're not the cheapest contractor in town - but they more than make up for it by providing Rolls Royce service and peace-of-mind guarantees. And that's what I want, with NO corners cut. People get riled up by a job that takes an hour to finish - and forget that it takes years of knowledge and skill - two entirely DIFFERENT things - for a super service tech to diagnose and solve a problem. And that's what I'm really paying for, not the time to do Job A vs. Job B. It's why we prefer experienced surgeons vs. those with only a few years under their belts. It takes years of practice to get good. And that's what you get with people like Reggie DeLeon, who I think has more than 25 years of experience dealing with all aspects of plumbing, welding and keeping things at or exceeding state and local codes.
* On maintenance checks, I always ask a year or two in advance about what my ball-park out-of-pocket might be, presuming no other surprises. And I then budget accordingly. And while it's hard to get a good estimate until a tech is on site to diagnose what's going on - if you get into a maintenance routine - an Anderson tech can give you a better idea of costs moving forward.
* Appliances are like your car and your own body. They need to be maintained regularly. Emergencies are far fewer if people would just follow this common sense rule.
* I'm convinced that with these maintenance checks by super techs like Reggie DeLeon - that I may never have to buy a new water heater again. Before I used Anderson - all of my previous water heaters failed - for the same reasons most tank water heaters fail, i.e., interior rust build-up combined with a degraded anode rod inside.
* Change out that anode rod every few years, Reggie says, and you're less likely to have your water heater fail just outside the average seven-year warranties attached to most water heaters. DO IT! Reggie D. 01/03/18 |
