I have their service today, they did a great job on my air duct cleaning. The two gentlemen (Mike and Barry) are very nice and did very good detail cleaning on every single hot and cold vents on my entire house. My dryer was not working due to my vent being clogged. Amistee was the second company I called and not only did I save a few dollars by calling them, they came that day! The receptionist was so nice and helpful and was able to fit me in within the hour. When Rob came to help me, he was very professional and showed me the extent of how bad it was. They completed all work as agreed and put in extra effort to clean our ducts. The ducts were never cleaned during the 32 years that we lived here and they had a lot to clean. I was very happy with my service from start to finish. When I called for pricing, the person I spoke to was very nice. They were able to get me an appointment within a couple days, which was a pleasant surprise. I was given a window of time to expect the service person. Rob showed up at the beginning of that window, which was nice. He communicated clearly what he would be doing. He was very kind and professional. The work done was great. Barry Stead and James (don't have last name) were awesome! They were very polite and professional from start to finish, explaining everything they were doing every step of the way. My toddler and I were home while they were cleaning our ducts and they were very respectful while moving throughout our home. They left behind zero mess and even found an issue with our duct system and explained a very simple fix that I was able to complete right then and there. I would absolutely recommend Amistee to anyone who is in need of having their duct system cleaned or inspected. We will not be looking anywhere else for this service in the years to come! Rob L. & Nick W. did a good and thorough job cleaning and sanitizing our home's air ducts. Scheduling was easy and they were able to get us scheduled for the upcoming Saturday. Rob informed us of the sanitizing option while onsite. He provided information on the product, answered our questions, and offered a coupon but never pressured us to purchase. We did opt to add on the sanitizing as we just moved into our house and the ducts had never been cleaned. The entire project took longer than the estimated time window however, I'm thankful they didn't rush through but instead took the time to do the job correctly. I received the follow-up email the same day which included before and after pictures of the ducts. Also, they did a great job sending appointment reminders and updating us on arrival times. We had a sewage backup in our basement and our furnace was sitting in Class 3 Sewage Water (with actual excrement). All those fumes and particles were pulled through our house.
As part of the remediation, we had to have the ducts cleaned and a new system installed. Part of the prep work for the new system was also sealing our ductwork so that the system would be the most efficient it could be.
Colin and Jack were on time; super professional; very kind and understanding for all that we were going through and did a great job. We thought it was going to take a full 8 hours for the whole process, but they were in and out and done in about a half a day. They knew what they were doing, answered all our questions, and did a great job!
