Long story short- we had a dead critter producing an awful smell in our air ducts. We had another company lined up to clean the ducts but when the appt time came, they cancelled on us. After calling several other companies, Amistee was fully booked but the dispatcher who answered the phone was still willing to help us in our urgent situation. Torrell and Isaiah arrived shortly and were professional and knowledgeable. Two hours later we had clean ducts and the smell was gone! We will definitely be calling Amistee again! We hired Amistee to clean ducts, then apply AeroSeal internal duct sealing. 5 young men arrived bright and early as scheduled. These 5 20-somethings were awesome, polite, HARD WORKING, informative, of good nature and git right after it! They totally dispelled the belief that the youth of America is lazy.. These guys are excellent. The ducts were cleaned and sealed,, clean up was 100% perfect and the sealing results were amazing. I had my ducts cleaned and Barry and he assistant did a phenomenal job! Prepped to ensure no debris or damaged, explained the process to us, asked several times if we had any questions. Rob S. and Alex B. were outstanding. A rarity in todays service industry. They were right on time, started work the minute they stepped out of the truck. Worked great together and were always mindful of keeping us informed as to what they were doing. They had the cleanliness and protection of our home and furnishing at the top of their mind as they prepared to clean the ductwork and dryer vent. Our local HVAC company recommended Amistee for air duct cleaning and sealing. I'd never heard of them before because they're based in SE Michigan and we're in the Lansing area. They sent two teams of two employees to our home, one for cleaning (didn't get their names) and one for sealing (Ryan P. and James E). Scheduling was easy, they called the day before to confirm arrival time for next day, and the day of the appointment they called to inform us who be arriving and when. Amistee was very professional and helpful from the office staff answering my questions to Torrell Windom and David Johnson who performed the service. I had questions because we have a drywall finished ceiling in our basement and the office personnel sought advice from their managers and returned my call to ease my concern.
