tech was out performing annual maintenance and charged 200$ to replace a plug in capacitor , my wife later found same part on line for 10 $ , what was the other

Customer service and professional work are hard to come by these days. Same day service, at a time convenient to me, was really appreciated. From Kim's(?) upbeat phone skills to Todd's explanation of every step he was taking to evaluate our HVAC systems, I felt valued as a customer. No scripted sales pitches, no "upsells", no extra charges for unnecessary parts/labor. Both systems are working just fine now. Very impressed came out at 745 left at just one and my air is working again...yeah me after 5 years broken and using window units.. Both guys were friendly and explained everything to me and answered all my questions. Mike and the young man who worked with putting in my new system were great. The weather was unbearably hot and yet they were professional and worked ceaselessly. The wrong sheet metal frame was sent, and they did not just say, sorry, see you another time--but called to get a new one made at the sheet metal place, and when it was taking a very long time they drove to the sheet place and waited on the piece so they could complete the job that day. My experience with Aire Serv today was such a delightful experience, My A/C tech Tracy arrived to my home in very little time, and figured out the problem with our air conditioner within 10 minute. Tracy was very professional, focused, friendly and knowledgable. I will recommend Aire Serv and Tracy to all my friends and family also I will be a customer of them for life. Great service. Ac was leaking water down the wall. Tech tore into the unit to discover it was installed wrong. Fixed the incorrect installation, rerouted the drains, cleaned everything and had it running in a couple hours. Also gave me recommendations on how to keep the unit running at its best. Mike Cole is an excellent technician. He came with a smile and was very helpful with the answers to my questions. He did everything he could to get our unit to keep us cool on a very hot day. You can tell he is very experienced with his line of work. Friendly and knowledgable is important when you work for an excellent company like Aire Serv. I have recommended Aire Serv to several family members & they all use them for their heating & cooling needs. When Mike came back to install the new coil 10 days later it was storming outside. He worked very efficiently & never complained once about standing outside in pouring rain to fill the unit with freon. He cleaned up everything before he left so I wouldn't be left with a mess. Aire Serv quickly responded to an emergency I had when the AC unit in a rental home I own suddenly went out on a Friday afternoon. Making matters worse was the fact, I was out of town. Aire Serv quickly determined the entire unit needed replacing and made arrangements to have the work performed ASAP. Very professional service ensued and the company actually performed the work one day earlier than estimated. They moved jobs around due to the situation we were in as three tenants were displaced. They also installed a window unit at no charge in the interim which was much appreciated. The only suggestion I have would be for the paperwork to list more detailed costs per item. This may make it easier to submit the job for reimbursement in a home warranty program. Overall we were very pleased with the performance by Aire Serv in this instance. We were concerned with their safety as work was performed in an attic on a warm summer day. Due to the breaks needed to the heat, it is understandable installation took most of a day.
