The visit by Michael was of a diagnostic type. Well, as it happens, we face a major repair or replacement of our retrofitted to old construction AC system. The old system will conk out after about 14-15 years of respectable service. Living on a fixed income, the job, if done right now, would be totally unplanned and not in the budget. We are at the end of current cooling season, so I asked to plan the job before the next year cooling season. And yes, I am on track to schedule it for the next year with all needed fiscal preparations (we do not entertain concepts of loan payments). I just want to point out the value and emphasize the importance of removing stress from expansive decision making process. It makes a lot of difference from fiscal and psychological perspective. We got several estimates and Tipping Hat by far was the best price. We got their info from their trucks driving around town. We had a gas line installed for our new range - they did an EXCELLENT JOB!!. They also installed our faucet and garbage disposal - not only did they install these items but configured our plumbing under the sink to its best potential. Jay O. from Tipping Hat did an outstanding job solving our plumbing issue efficiently and effectively. He was able to immediately understand the problem, and determined the best approach to get our new washing machine installed quickly. He even suggested that we run a spin cycle so that he could ensure there were no leaks or issues before he left. He was also able to explain in easy to understand terms why and how we may want to address some of the structural plumbing issues in our laundry room and kitchen in the future. TippingHat installed a beautiful new Rheem furnace with ductwork in my 120 year old house. My old system was ancient and the ductwork was all torn and destroyed. Sean brought out an amazing crew and replaced my old furnace, and ductwork, replaced my water heater, installed humidifier and air purifier, and added central air. It’s all smart home and is so cool. Michael came to our house to do our annual maintenance. During his service call he showed me that he found some issues. He went over everything with me. He gave us a bid on repairs and on replacement, there was no pressure just facts. We decided to replace. The crew came out within the week - at our convenience on time and professional. They did an awesome job, took the time to explain everything. Even though there was unforeseen issues they stayed until the job was done. Made sure everything was safe. After getting quotes from multiple HVAC companies, we chose Tipping Hat. They treated us really well. Zach, the lead, did a wonderful job explaining in a very transparent way what services we would be receiving for our new HVAC install. Our install technicians, Floyd and Corey, we're very professional and efficient. They made sure to clean up after themselves both outside around our air conditioning unit and inside around our furnace. They made sure that all of our ductwork was brought up to code, even on our water heater, as part of the service contract. Floyd made sure to explain our maintenance plan going forward, all the different features on our new furnace and our new smart thermostat, ensuring that we knew how to operate it. He also explained basic care and maintenance for our air conditioning unit, especially since we have dogs. Did you know that dog urine is one of the top damaging liquids that can hit the coils on an air conditioning unit? We sure didn't.

Tipping Hat's plumber Jacob, started a bit rough in that he arrived late because of truck trouble, but made up for it by completing the work and taking care of the details like vacuuming up and communicating with us about what the issues were. Dominic, the service pro who arrived solved the root cause of the problem and fix in about 3 minutes. He kindly gave me an assessment in about 6 minutes.
Within 15 minutes or so, we were walking to his vehicle to get required parts to fix my problematic toilet.

It's been a few years now that I found out about them and we've used them for the furnace and electrical work and won't go with any other company. I will refer them to anyone I know. From the initial call to Jessica requesting a technician to final furnace install the process with Tipping Hat was easy. Billie was knowledgeable of product lines and was very helpful in guiding us to a decision. Billie availed himself at any time for questions or clarification of their proposed service.
