Antony came at a time when my house was in dishevel from remodeling with an electrician, Carpet One, and the Merry Maids in the house and I had things I had to do. Antony walked in with covered shoes, and we went over all the things I wanted him to do, (which he already knew) and off he went to work. Additionally, although I did not know this, the furnace was overheating because the gas pressure was up too high --- this was reset to the correct level. Well worth a call for peace of mind. David N came out to diagnose the failure of our furnace to produce heat. He was both confident and methodical, going through a series of steps to identify the problem, and he did. He ordered the part and when it came in, several days later, returned to install it. He was always confident and professional in his work and I was very impressed with his knowledge and skill. When one changes service providers it is always a nervous situation until you know what you are going to receive. We had been using Powell Plumbing for many years when they went out of business. We decided to try Standard Plumbing because of their long service to the Manhattan Community. We are glad we did, our Spring and Winter Service was carried out in a true professional manner. We called Standard Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning when we had water backing up out of one of the floor drains in our basement. They got a appointment scheduled with us quickly and the technician, Jay, was able to get the pipes unclogged and everything fixed and working within an hour of showing up at our house. A huge thank you goes to Jodi and Standard Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning for their quick action in dispatching David N. this morning. He expertly diagnosed the AC malfunction that occurred yesterday and immediately worked with American Standard before he left to overnight the parts so we would be back to cool air by tomorrow night. Thank goodness for American Standard's ten year warranty on parts or the fix would have been very expensive!
