Had an untimely furnace failure on a Friday morning @ 4am. Jason came by at 11a, assessed the situation and presented options. We ended up deciding on a replacement due to the age of our equipment and the estimated cost to repair the existing unit.
Jason was informed and presented our options with no pressure. Great to work with and was able to get a crew out that afternoon to complete the install. That was fantastic as we had no heat and was around 30*F outside.
Josh and Jesse did our install work and were great as well. They took time to answer my questions with and always were extremely friendly. They explained everything about the new system, gave an overview of new features, required maintenance, and other details. I got follow-up communication from R-Mech making sure that we were happy with everything and had no other questions.

He greeted me by presenting his business card, explained everything he was going to do based on the service requested, as well as safety requirements, and confirmed everything that was completed when he finished. Westin B came to install a new hot water heater in the house and hauled away the old leaking one. Knowledgable, fast, friendly and courteous are some of the adjectives that came to mind when describing the professionalism of this Technician. As a retired nurse, teaching patients what to know and do about their health in order to function at the optimum level possible was one of many goals of my nursing career. Therefore, i was really impressed by Westin's teaching abilities about what I needed to do to keep my hot water heater in tip top shape for years to come. Thank you Westin for a job well done. We had R-Mech install a water heater we purchased at Home Depot. The company was able to give an estimate over the phone and schedule installation within 3 hours of ordering the appliance. Westin, the installer, was very courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, and very professional. He assessed the work to be done and was able to draw up a contract with a full quote within 30 minutes of arrival. His workmanship was top notch. He kept the area spotless upon leaving. In the last year I've used R-Mech to install a tankless hot water heater, a whole-house water softening system, a garbage disposal, they've replaced a toilet and I just had them back out to replace all of the fixtures for a kitchen sink. They're always in and out quickly and do a great job and clean up after themselves when done. I wish I'd have known about them a couple years ago when I replaced my AC and heater in my home. I broke my foot. We needed a handicapped toilet installed. My husband called for an estimate which he was given over the phone unlike another company who wanted to charge $99 to come to the house first. The toilet was installed by Kyle the next day even though they would have come out that same day. Same day service! Amazing!!! I had an appointment for Monday and Jon called on Sunday to tell me that he was overbooked. I figured he was asking if we could do it later in the week. Instead he asked if he could just come out later that day on a Sunday. I have never had that happen. He made it out that day and his bid to replace my sewer line ended up being significantly less than the next lowest. They were out when they said they would be and we're very polite and courteous. Josh came out to our house earlier this week because our dehumidifier was leaking water all over our basement back room! He knew exactly what the problem was and how to fix it. Unfortunately fixing it required us to purchase a new dehumidifier but it was reasonably priced and they installed it quickly. Josh and Kyle even worked around carpet installers, which was probably annoying to them at best.
While installing the dehumidifier the water line came loose from the wall that ran it outside the house, so we had a small amount of flooding in our back room. My husband called right away and they had someone at the house in minutes to fix!

I have had two encounters with plumbers from R-Mech since November. The first time, R-Mech was the only company willing to send a plumber after hours the night before Thanksgiving. So when I discovered I needed a plumber again this week, of course, I called R-Mech.
This last repair, done by Andrew White, was done quickly and efficiently - no extra trips necessary, all tools and supplies were on the truck.
Andrew is a gentleman, willing to explain patiently (as I tend to ask lots of questions about what repairs are being done and why), and he even told me about the S.A.F.E. Service Agreement; so now I am looking forward to having my heating/cooling system serviced for the year! Andrew W. 01/12/17 |

Jayson Prayson was the HVAC Service Technician who visited us today for a furnace tune up. He was courteous and professional. He called before he came to give us notice of the time he would arrive. He provided his business card upon greeting us. He explained the work he would be performing and kept us informed throughout the visit. I especially appreciate him taking the time to answer some questions for me about the furnace. We have not lived in the home long and I have not had any experience at all in this area. He also did some troubleshooting on my gas fireplace. He worked diligently trying to resolve the issues found. I noted his determination and the professional manner that he exhibited the entire time. Kyle and his associate came out to install 3 Toto toilets. He did a great job. Was courteous; on time; and professional. He even told me I could touch up paint while the tank was off. I wasn't prepared to do this and wish the company would've told me I may need to paint since this new style has a smaller tank. I would've made sure I had the right paint color on hand.
