The field service individuals did an excellent job; they were professional, knowledgeable and customer service oriented - a 5 star performance. The difficulty for both me & the field service individuals was not being able to contact live in a timely manner in-house personnel for administrative assistance; more resources are needed here for better customer & field support.

Came out to give me an air conditioner tuneup. The technician said I needed $1800 in repairs. I had a second company take a look and they said my air conditioner was in great condition and it only needed a tuneup and it’s worked great ever since. The Genz-Ryan technician either didn’t know what he was doing or lied to me. When I complained they blew me off. Don’t use this company.

I had them give me an air conditioner tuneup. The technician barely looked at it and then told me I needed $1800 in repairs. I got another company to give me a second opinion and they said my air conditioner is in great condition and just needed a tuneup. It’s worked perfectly since. When I complained to Genz-Ryan they blew me off. The Genz-Ryan technician either didn’t know what he was doing or lied to me.

On Monday we had an air conditioner tune-up. The guy did not tune anything up, but instead told us our a/c was broken and that we needed, at the minimum, $900 in repairs, but should probably get a new unit altogether. On Wednesday we had a different company come out. The guy said the air conditioner was completely fine, did a thorough tune-up, then left. Moral of the story: get a second opinion, and also probably don’t use Genz Ryan.

Jeff inspected our furnace & diagnosed the problems we were having with our central air conditioner. He recommended 4 options for repairing the air conditioner & explained the pros & cons of each option. Very happy with the service we received from Genz-Ryan

Mike G did fine work tuning on our AC. He was on time, did the inspection quickly and ended up in his truck for 30 minutes while he waited for a windy downpour to finish so he could complete the work. He ended up using an umbrella under his arm to finish when the stubborn rain refused to quit, just so he wouldn’t be an imposition any longer on our evening. Nice friendly guy. We were glad to have him.

Both Mike G. & Mike B. were so professional & helpful. Was having problem with my ice maker & they took the time to help me with some minor adjustments which saved me a service call. They inspected my air conditioner giving me options for some repairs needed without trying to sell me more than I needed.

Originally made appointment in May. When making appointment, asked about costs and what services were provided. Person responded that service cost is 59 dollars. When asked about other costs, he didn't know. When asked about servicing mobile homes, responded yes. Genz_Ryan called a couple of days before appointment to say they were swamped with work, could we reschedule. Not a real problem. Rescheduled for july 10. Waited the entire afternoon, finally heard at 5 pm that he was in rogers and on his way. At shortly before 6, he called again, asked if lived a mobile home? Told him yes, then Ryan told us that "we do not service those!" REALLY GREAT COMPANY, NOT!!!!

This is the second time Matt came to my home. I was lucky enough to get Matt a second time I needed Genz Ryan to do a job for me. I had a water heater, water softener and sump pump installed by Genz Ryan! I must say I am completely satisfied with the work! Matt is a nice guy, and a knowledgable Plummer! Thank you Genz Ryan!

We used Genz-Ryan special to flush out our Water Heater. The serviceman was Alex and he was very polite, professional, and knowledgeable. Ironically, he had let me know a service my city provided "free of charge" to residents. Wow, we actually saved money. We will continue to use Genz-Ryan in the future as we have in the past.

Noah was a very resourceful technician that found the problem with my central air conditioning. He noticed that it wasn’t that old and that it should be fixable instead of replaceable. He worked very hard and quickly and fixed it. He pointed out other problems that he found and fixed too. I would highly recommend Noah for his great work!

AC went out on Sunday July 1st. I called Monday. Scheduling with them is tricky. They only give u a 30-60 min notice before arrival, so that makes it hard with work. But anyways, it's Thurs, July 5th. And Brian came out this afternoon .He gave us pricing options and several options for repair to chose from. A few hours later we finally had cool air again! We are only halfway through the repair tho. It still needs a transfer line replaced, but happy to have it cooling again. And Brian was very nice to work with. He was very friendly and even talked to my dogs

Paid the invoice. However, still not satisfied with lack of detail for what I paid for. Seems no one can explain it. I talked to the tech Tyler about it(by the way,gave excellent service) but he couldn't come up with the pricing. Any chance some one can come up with it? (would be 5 star if you guys could accomodate)

Our ac went out during this incredibly hot & humid spell. I called Genz-Ryan on a Tuesday morning and was happy to have someone answer before 8am! They were booked until Thursday due to the 4th of July holiday. Christy set an appt but also added me to the urgent need list. She was very friendly and let me know that they have cancellations throughout the day and would call if they could squeeze us in. A few hours later she called back and let me know that we were on the urgent list for that day. She quickly & clearly explained the process and service fee structure. Later that evening ee got a call from Noah F introducing himself and confirming our address. He arrived 20 mins later and was professional and friendly. My husband sat out with him while Noah evaluated the situation. Noah clearly explained our options and we were able to repair our unit. He ended up working quite late the night before a holiday but the ac was fully fixed and he never gave the slightest hint that he was tired or ready to be done after what had to have been a long day for him. I will not hesitate to call Genz-Ryan for any other repair needs and will most likely work with them when I need to replace the ac or furnace at my house.

Alberto was nothing short of amazing during his visit to our home today. He was respectful, resourceful, and knowledgeable when it came to explaining the situation we had with our air conditioner. He explained everything that was going on so I was able to understand it, and he gave us all of our options going forward. I want to thank him over and over for all that he did during his visit today.

They not only worked on the inner workings of the equipment but also ensured that the exterior was in great shape. They left the work area much cleaner than when they started.

Our air conditioning went out on a Friday evening and we were very concerned with the upcoming hot days. I received a prompt call back on Friday evening. The technician, Tyler, was able to come out on Saturday to take a look. Our 28 year old unit finally was on its way out. He spent a significant amount of time explaining the issue to us and walking through our options. After a very stressful Friday, we were feeling much better with Tyler’s help. Thank you!

We called over the weekend with a broken a/c unit. With a new infant in the house we were feeling very overwhelmed and concerned. Genz-Ryan promptly returned my call on a Friday night and was able to fit us in next day. Our technician, Tyler, was incredibly professional, quick and helped relieve our stress as to the "what's next." My AC stopped working a few days before a hot weekend and Genz Ryan was able to come out the same day. Dan arrived right when he said he would and immediately started working. He explained exactly what he was doing and even showed me some of the tests he was running so I would better understand. He had many different options for me to consider when it came to fixing the unit and I felt that he was very honest with me. He was incredibly thorough, which I appreciated. I will definitely recommend Genz Ryan to my friends and will have them back in the fall to check out my furnace.

I am on a fixed income. So I wanted my AC fixed. From my initial call the receptionist asked me about my system. Based on that I was targeted for a Big Sale instead of a repair. My compressor had a wire burned off. Instead of finding the error and correcting it my serviceman James P. decided it would be more profitable to sell me: 1) a top of the line furnace and AC for $25,000. 2) a next step down $15,000 version 3) several other options including a $12,000 option. I called CenterPoint. I am a subscriber but AC and Furnace were not covered. So I had them send out a technician. It took an hour and the tech found the issue and replaced the wire. I paid him $190 for the service call. He recommended I add AC to my Home Service Plus which I did for $6/month. He said if I had already been covered it would all have been covered. I want Genz Ryan to refund my $99 service charge because they did not service my equipment as asked. I have in the past received good service from Genz Ryan. I hope they can restore my confidence in them. I'm not sure if I will give them the opportunity again?
