Trey has come out to my home multiple times to pick up dead rodents out of my yard. He is showing serious customer care. We used Critter Control for a rat problem that Terminix could not handle, despite paying for their version of "exclusion" a year prior. We had read mixed reviews on Critter Control, but are very happy with the results, and ALL the technicians that have serviced our home. David has been out on multiple occasions and is prompt (if not early), friendly, courteous, and thorough. He follows up as promised and knows our attics inside and out. Phillip M. came today to apply another round of repellant spray to our exterior, and was just as friendly and professional as David. Our initial service was completed on 12/29/17, and the standard follow up appointments, along with extra requested visits have been excellent. Yes, Critter Control was more costly than Terminix, but the service, professional commitment to meet expectations and promised resolution to our problem is well worth the extra money spent. This morning I had something in some heavy brush near my pool growl at me letting me know that the "critter" was there and I wasn't welcomed. I called Critter Control. My inspector, Matt was out this afternoon and he gave me a courtesy call letting me know that he was on his way. Matt was very knowledgeable, and he literally got down on all fours and went into my heavy brush. He definitely "put his neck on the line". I had asked Critter control o come out in December to check my house and Phillip W. gave me detailed summary of what was going on in my attic. I could not afford it at that time. But because of his detailed concern I called back this month and he address my needs. Critter Control was the only pest control service that we called that provided everything we needed. As of Feb. 8, 2018, we had been experiencing an unpleasant odor from a vent in one of our rooms. When we tried to set up an appointment with another company, they took until the 12th to finally get an inspection where the inspector told us that there definitely was a dead animal somewhere but because she couldn't find it all she could do was set traps. After some research, we came across Critter Control that does dead animal removal and had our inspection set for the 15th. That is when the inspector, Blake, informed us that the job wouldn't be just dead animal removal, but a complete clean up of our insulation and attic. They were able to get us set up with a full cleaning on the 17th and the crew arrived in the time slot provided. Now, as of the 18th, the smell is gone, our attic is free of large rats, and we have a better insulation than before. Any gaps that rats could come through again have been closed and the duct where the rodent died in was sanitized and closed. We had rodents in our attic, and Julio and his crew came out yesterday. They replaced the insulation, disinfected, sealed all holes. and removed the dead rodent. We had used Phillip and Critter Control several years ago and he is the very best !!! Phillip is always upbeat and sincerely cares about the customer and doing quality work .
We recently had a new roof put on and didn’t realize that there were areas where rats could get back into the attic.
There is nothing creepier than hearing rats above your head at night and in the walls scratching. We called Phillip and once again he came to our rescue. He sent Victor and his team out for the initial work and Arnold and his team out for the follow up. It is such a relief to know that the problem has been taken care of with a spirit of excellence !!!

Arnold spent hours at our home taking care of our critter problem. He was very professional and really paid attention to details in making sure the problem was solved and our home was neat and cleaned when he was done. Critter Control was able to get us on their schedule within two days of their initial visit and plan determination. Julio arrived on time, explained the process so I knew exactly what to expect at each phase. He kept me updated during the process and given all of the work he and his crew performed, I was impressed there was no lingering mess or debris. Arnold showed up to honor the warranty service for the pest control treatment we had paid for back in early December. We had been traveling for two weeks and when we came home, we found evidence that what began with one mouse had now resulted in mice all over the house. The first crew who came out to the house obviously did not eradicate the mice. Arnold was apologetic and empathic. He brought a second crew with him and they not only discovered abundant evidence of mouse activity in the house, they also discovered several holes in the perimeter of the house that had never been closed by the first crew. Photos were taken. Areas were thoroughly cleaned. New chemicals were applied. Sticky tape was placed in relevant areas to catch the baby mice who are too small to set off larger traps. I wish we had had Arnold from the very beginning, instead of the other crew who did such a poor job. Unfortunately, because the first crew did not do their jobs properly, our beautiful wood kitchen floors were soaked in mouse urine in several places while we were traveling and in spite of multiple cleanings, may have to be replaced. I cannot therefore recommend Critter Control as a pest control service unless you can insist on having Arnold there from the beginning of the treatment. Arnold, who handles their warranty service, is professional and excellent, but the rest of the regular crew doesn't seem to know what they're doing. They don't pay attention or follow directions and they left a huge mess in our attic. And it was almost impossible to get a return phone call from the manager. Arnold. 01/23/18 |
