Eric and Vincent are the best, don't try to do it yourself! We rented a small truck to drive down to Santa Fe, NM and they packed it up for us. They are masters of getting the best of the space we had. It was unbelievable how they packed up the truck, we never would have been so efficient. We used Cowboy Moving and Storage for the move of furniture from 2 pods, back into our home after construction. Vance E, Vinice M, and Justin S. did a great job! They had wonderful attitudes (can do!, cheerful, power on through huge wind, etc), and treated our furniture and fragiles carefully. They helped position everything inside. If I could give Cowboy Movers a thousand stars, I would. They were absolutely wonderful! Augustin M., Jessie G., and Denis B. were the movers assigned to move our family of five across the state. I could not have been more pleased with the quality of their work, and I absolutely could not have moved without them! All of the men had great attitudes, worked quickly and were incredibly kind to our family with three young children. They helped keep a smile on our faces with a stressful move and made my kids laugh. Denis' jokes with my 6 year old had him constantly waiting for Denis to return back to the house again from loading up the truck. He even made me laugh out loud several times. They weren't annoyed when my kiddos got in the way, or asked a thousand questions, or cried because all of their earthly possessions were being loaded on a truck. They were even super sweet to our little dog. Without question, if we ever have to move again, we will hire Cowboy Movers. They were so good, we requested that the same team unload us the following day (we had a 2 day move-- one day load up, hold over night, next day unload). Denis even brought a small toy for my children the second day! As if their awesome attitudes and hustle weren't enough, for Denis to think of my children (whose toys were packed up) was above and beyond. The men arrived promptly on the second day and had the same hustle and good attitude...which is saying a lot, because we were moving a ridiculous amount of stuff. I hired Cowboy Moving for the first time for my apt to house move, glad I did. Vance and Kyle worked very hard, were very careful with my items and were two great guys. It was a fun move and they went as fast as they could, lots of stuff takes time to move. The scheduling with Debbie was easy, I got phone calls to verify and when they were on the way and everything went smoothly. From start to finish, the moving experience was a very good one in spite of the fact that moving, no matter what, is just an awful thing to have to do. It all started with Debbie in the office and her quick response to give us a quote. Their website had so many positive reviews and the price was right. This move was a production for sure from a mountain house in Park County to a home in Brighton, CO. 104 miles door to door. A three bedroom house and garage and workshop that were completely full and packed up and ready to go for the guys was waiting for them upon arrival. 4 men and 2 trucks. It took a number of hours to get everything loaded. Our movers were Forrest, Derek, Eric and Vincent. These guys were just absolutely great. Friendly, eager, fun and dedicated to their mission. I could not do what they do. A late in the afternoon departure from the loading site and a horrible traffic jam on C-470 made for a much too late arrival to the unloading site. Forrest called me while I was sitting still in traffic with probably nearly an hour more for me to get to the destination. I knew the guys had to be tired and suggested they please only unload 4 live cacti that were on the truck and put them on the porch and once we arrived to the house, we would set them in. I told them that perhaps unloading the next day would be better for all concerned. So it was agreed that unloading would happen the next day and the cacti would not freeze in the truck overnight. The delivery happened the next afternoon and went very smoothly. The guys had 3 floors to put things on and worked hard and diligently without complaining. These guys were all so great. If I had had it, a tip of $1000 each would have been gladly given. When it came time to settle up in the end, the original quote based on really too few hours in the first place, increased nearly $900. We expected this actually and were prepared for it. There was nothing deceptive about any of it, it was just an under-estimation of the time frame it would take to load and unload. The move still came in costing UNDER what we ultimately thought it would cost. We were very happy when it was all over. There were a few items, all antique pieces that were old wood and probably pretty brittle that were broken or damaged in the move. We attributed this to years in a very dry climate, the way things settle on a moving truck, the distance, the rough mountain roads when leaving the house. The guys were all so careful and diligent in their efforts to pad and wrap everything so carefully. We do not fault them at all for the damage that occurred. We are anticipating the furniture repair guy that Cowboy uses can do the job of getting these pieces repaired and back to how they were. We have been told he is very good at what he does. So, he is coming sooner than we even expected, this coming Wednesday to do the repairs on site at the house. We are very happy about this as well. We will always be very grateful to Forrest, Derek, Eric and Vincent for getting our worldly possessions from point A to point B like they did. What a great group of guys they are.
