Because the company did not respond the case was "closed" as unresolved. What does that mean? The can still be unethical and get away with it whereas is does not effect their rating? Makes absolutely no sense.

If I could give zero stars I would.I placed my complaint with the BBB because I had heard nothing from Campus Credit Union concerning my issues. I, to my surprise, did hear from Campus Credit Union the very next day. I thought to myself, "wow it really did work". I spoke with a representative of the credit union who did apologize and told me that they had made mistakes and the fees I had been charged would be returned. I believe that was on February 16th, 2020 when I spoke with the representative. Since that time I have heard nothing, again, from Campus Credit Union...even though I have called and left messages (with the same rep I spoke with previously). As of today, March 2, 2020, my bank still has not received the title and documents for my purchased vehicle and I have not been refunded the monies demanded by Campus Credit Union. I feel like the BBB is a way to make a complaint that is "feel good" but as they state on their website they really have no power to enforce anything. If your going to be a quasi-governmental agency then why don't you have the power to do anything. My issues in this matter has been going on for nearly 6 weeks. I'm just so annoyed/frustrated/disappointed with this whole experience.

If you have a problem with a business and need help resolving it, call these folks, if you are in the right they will go to batt for you, they will give you a voice that will be herd and respected, awesome folks none better!

The BBB did contact the trash company and they said that they are answering all calls but we still can not get anyone to answer, you go to a hold site and you can wait for 20 to 45 minutes and still NO ANSWER. THE COMPANY IS WASTE CONNECTIONS

the bbb was totally played by the vendor. i wrote that i wasn't satisfied by the weasel words. the bbb said they were, and bailed. they said they don't advocate for either side. they don't resolve anything. they just pat themselves on the back. the vendor played them like a borrowed fiddle. the effect is the bbb advocates for its members against the customers.

BBB was wonderful in helping me solve my issue.. I was making payments to a company but still being harassed by that company saying i wasn't making payment. BBB help stop the harassing phone calls and get my account in perfect order. Thanks BBB.

I received. Letter from the company that I was in a dispute with. The BBB closed the case as they were Cc’ed on the letter and they said it has been resolved. After 2 weeks I called the company up to find out the status of my refund. They stated that they did not issue and that was that. The BBB closed the case and I did not receive my check. BBB was no help at all.

I was very thankful for BBB to report my complaint too. Although I still think the com[any I had a complaint against is a big bully and withheld money from me, at least they made definite changes in my personal banking information so the same problems wouldn't keep occurring.

I believe that all complaints can be resolved. They may not be resolved in a manner that suits all parties but most certainly can be done so fairly based upon the facts.

this was a distressing and stressful situation, and BBB responded promptly and clearly. They were involved in both rejections I made of the business involved answers. I had no idea when I made the complaint that it would go to the Denver office- however, that made no difference in their involvement with me (in Bellevue WA) the issue was finally solved, altho the response the business made to BBB was inaccurate and mis leading in ways. We are happily done with that business!!

You automatically sided with the trash company. NO credit was ever issued. I was ripped off and you people were useless. You complicity with the rip off was unexpected and should have been followed up.

The process was very quick and easy. I definitely recommend the Boulder Colorado BBB! If more individuals and businesses would use this type of service for good and bad businesses alike, there would be fewer businesses trying to take advantage of consumers.

I reported to the BBB on a popular mobile app that was supposed to immediately transfer funds to PayPal after using the app to make purchases and accumulating the funds but locked my account when doing so. Before reporting I saw where many other users of this app were experiencing the same thing. I had previously contacted the app through email, the only way to contact them as they do not provide a phone number and received no response. After reporting to the BBB I immediately had access to my funds. I do not believe I would have ever received the funds if it wasn't for the excellence service I received from the Colorado BBB.

BBB helped me resolve the issue with centurylink within 3 weeks. I’ve been trying to get my phone line fixed for last 7 months. With no exaggeration I spoke with over 12 different people with no results. That’s not including the annoying automated system before you can reach anyone.

BBB has helped me at least 5 times in the least couple years to resolve problems with businesses who were treating me with disrespect, stalling giving me my refunds, giving terrible customer service. BBB has not failed to get my issue resolved each time I have filed a complaint. I recommend them to everyone I know.

I've had to contact the BBB on several occasions on several company's I have delt with. I'd like to say the BBB has done everything they can from their end and the outcome 98% of the time has been very successful. If in doubt contact the BBB and report the company your having issues with, if you don't others won't know there could be a potential issue for them as well.

I am so pleased with the outcome of your service. I wasn't getting anywhere trying to communicate with Visible, they kept giving me the run around. As soon as I contacted the BBB, they got results. I finally received my refund in February. Thanks again for all you do to help consumers like me .

America Auto shield refused to pay for the service and parts when my transmission when down. I tried all I could to let AAS see that everything done on the car was covered but to no avail until I took the case to BBB and within a couple of weeks everything was paid for by AAS. Thanks BBB.

The same day I filed my complaint with the BBB, I received a response the same day from BBB. The very next day I received a call from the Business the complaint was filed against. The issue was resolved immediately. I'm very grateful to the BBB for their assistance, to resolve the issue I was having. 2 days is all it took to resolve the issue. I'm very happy and highly recommend the BBB. Thank you

The Denver BBB helped me resolve a grievance with a Colorado based mobile service provider that failed to provide service and was unwilling or unable to resolve the failure in service provision. I'm quite confident the business only eventually affirmatively replied due to the intervention of the BBB. The business ultimately provided a refund. I'm convinced this is largely part due the fair and balanced efforts and intervention of the Denver BBB mediating between businesses and customers!
