I do a good search & get 3 quotes when I need service done. Amistee had 98% positive reviews so Steve (very outgoing) came out to provide a quote which came out to be the best of the three I got. Day of service; A Jake, Ryan and James came out on time with masks, shoe covers, & laid out the covering for the floors and carpet. The duct cleaning and the Aeroseal were both done in 8 hours as mentioned. Work was completed as written on the quote and they cleaned up behind them. Not an hour as they left here is Joy from the company calling to see if all was acceptable. You cannot go wrong with a company ran by staff such as these. Thank you Amistee for a nice experience. Rob and Nick arrived on time and gave detailed information of the procedure before they started. Rob also replaced an important vent ledge that was removed years ago when a new furnace was installed. They were very polite and professional and left no footprints behind. Rob also gave me some great advice on getting my dryer vent rerouted from current location which is causing problems and some damage to the drywall. Kudos to the Inside Outside Guys for their recommendation of calling Amistee for great, reliable service. I called to schedule a service date for both my home and my mother’s next door. I spoke with Dawn who was extremely professional, courteous and helpful.
On the morning of my service I was given a call and a text to advise Melvin Buckner and Trevion Nelson were on their way.
Melvin and Trey introduced themselves and immediately got to work. Melvin who was the lead Specialist took the time to explain the procedures, while Trey put drop clothes and wall protectors up along with blocking and applying protective non damaging adhesive to the flooring around the vents.
Time was taken to check each air duct vent and before and after pictures were taken.
Both were diligent with their professionalism, always covering their shoes when inside the home working and making sure to ask if I had any questions.
Melvin explained and showed me how some of my ducts had disintegrated within the slab due to rusting and natural corrosion that occurs. He explained that there was remedy to this problem called Duct Armor that comes with a 15 year warranty and a 40 year life expectancy.
When the time came to clean my dryer vent Melvin took extra time to make sure the run was completely clear of any blockages, even having me turn the dryer to test the air flow.
Both spoke highly of the company they worked for and the treatment they received as employees.
I will definitely continue to use Aimstee on a regular basis in the future and have scheduled them to return on October 30th to install the Duct Armor both to my home and my mothers home next door.
