Once I decided to move forward with Tudi Mechanical to install my residential Heating and Cooling System, it took about 2-3 days and they were out on-site. Installation went smooth and was completed within 1 day by 2 professional installers. Since the unit was installed in late september, the heating system is working flawlessly. I would highly recommend Tudi. Everyone from sales to installation was great (professional, took time to explain everything, showed up on time, cleaned up afterwards etc.). Their price was very competitive however their partnership with Costco sold it. I'm very happy with everything and will definitely use them for all of my heating & AC needs in the future. Learned about this company years ago when KDKA morning radio host
was talking about TUDI helping the poor to fix their furnaces in the winter for free. The radio host (Marty G) said this was a quality company. So through the years, I had them install a new furnace and air conditioner system, gas line for fire place and some smaller jobs. They always did a quality job, no complaints. Technicians are knowledgeable, efficient and provide good services. We were having issues with the Aprilaire humidifier on our furnace. I can't say enough good things about Tudi's work in replacing my old furnace!
August came to do the initial estimation. He was very honest and straightforward, explaining all the in's and out's of their product offerings, warrantees and service plans, and helped me make an informed decision on the best unit for me, never pushing me to upgrade for features I didnt need.
Russ then came to do the installation and knocked it out of the park. He worked single handedly all day in my basement, meticulously laying plastic sheeting to keep my finished basement carpet clean while he tore out my old filthy oily 20 year old furnace. He also did alot of vent work to fit the new unit into my older house HVAC setup. He showed me how to program the thermostat and change the filters before he left and made me feel like I made a good choice. If you work with Tudi, I'd highly recommend requesting Russ to do you install!
Tudi made me feel like they had pride in doing a good job and making me happy as a customer. They worked around my schedule and even expedited my furnace replacement to the next day since I had NO heat and the weather was quickly falling into the 20s. After installing a new furnace and AC unit I decided to put new heating vents in our basement the following week. I notified Tudi and their sales rep responded immediately, gave me a price and a few days later Tudi called to setup an installation date in two days. The technician arrived as scheduled and in less than 1 1/2 hours the work was completed and the area was immaculate!! We have used Tudi for about 50 years for all of our heating and Cooling Systems in our home and former business and are still using them because their service is reliable, personal and punctual. The shower in our master bathroom was clogged, which also affected the two sinks. We called on Friday, and scheduled a service call for first thing on Monday. I was very pleased to see Dan.
