This was a mixed bag for me. The technician was all the things you would want in a plumber: respectful, knowledgeable, accommodating but the finished product wasn't what I expected. I needed a new kitchen faucet, which he had to order. I assumed he would order a similar/comparable faucet. It wasn't until he had spent 1 1/2 hours installing the new faucet that I realized it wasn't at all the same. My original faucet was a high, arched faucet - which is what I like and need for my kitchen. This was a lower model that I would never have chosen. He offered to put the old faucet back, but I didn't feel that was really an option.- have him spend another 1 1/2 hours putting the old leaky faucet back on, paying for a visit that didn't help, and then having another visit at another time to put a new faucet on. so I am living with the new faucet that doesn't really meet my needs. The technician was friendly, but not clear on the charges or services I was to receive. Extremely over priced for the services I received. $977 for a jet drain clear. Drywall was removed from my home and not replaced. Rooter service didn't take and the expectation for the new quote was for reasons why the rooter didn't take including video of the obstruction and needs for future repair. Would not recommend. I had scheduled Cummings to come out and do the necessary Spring maintenance for my AC and also check on a problem I had of a odorl coming thru my ducts into the house.....first time using them. First off, they called and were ahead of schedule and in my area and asked if they could come early....Yeah! How often does that happen! They were very nice and professional and most of all my dog liked them! Anyway, they checked out my unit after we had discussed the odor coming inside from the vents. They were very thorough and showed me the problems inside the unit and discussed what possibly could be causing the smell inside. They were very specific about the condition of my gas pack unit and the likelihood that it would not survive for very long (12 years old). He priced a new unit for me which could be installed the following week and I went ahead and scheduled it. They were thorough with me, discussed all options, the price I felt was reasonable, and I felt comfortable going ahead with a new unit....I was not naïve about the age of mine and the potential that I would need a new unit soon. I had purposely picked Cummings as I felt they were a large company with a good name in the area and I also felt they would have the experience to diagnose the odor problem coming inside my home. My AC went out on Sunday 3/24 and they gave me an appointment for 1000 am the following day. Carlos came out and said my blower motor was blown and needed to be replaced;however, there was no replacement part locally and it had to be ordered. Carlos and another tech returned the next day with a new motor; however, it wasn't the correct part and it would not work. Carlos told me he would order the correct part then left early Tuesday morning. I did not hear anything back until I called Cummings Thursday noon and was told they were still looking for the part. I asked for the number for the owner and was given a number to call Kevin Cummings. I relayed what happened and he apologized and assured me everything would be fixed and at no expense. My new AC system is only 2 years old. Friday noon I still had not heard back from Carlos so I called back and was told they were trying to get the part from UPS and they would send out two portable units to cool my house in the interim. Around 5 PM Carlos and another tech showed up with the correct part, fixed my blower as I could hear it blowing, then left, all within about 15 minutes. They never checked my compressor or thermostat. The temp inside my house when they left was 78. Two hours later, the temp had risen to 79 so I knew it was still broken. I called the store and was told they would send a tech back out. A different tech, Tyler I think, arrived at 8 PM and said he had to re-wire the work performed earlier.
