I contacted Cummings Plumbing on Monday morning regarding a major water leak that required the water to be shut off until repairs were completed. They were able to schedule a technician to come out that afternoon. The technician found the problem and was able to shut off water to the affected area while restoring water to the house until the parts required to fix the leak could be ordered and the repair completed. The technician returned the next day to finish the repair. I was so impressed with the service and professionalism of the technician that I have already referred Cummings to my coworkers. First, everyone dealt with was friendly and competent. Excellent scheduling and promptness. Work completed in a timely manner. However pricing seemed both high and vague (could not get an itemized quote, just a single quote for the simple job). To replace a $15 exterior faucet took less than an hour and cost more than $300. They were very quick in getting someone out to assess the issue and repair. However, we had questions about the repair that was done and have called twice in as many days and were told twice that the Supervisor (Joseph) would return out call but he hasn’t bothered to call this paying customer back.
