Benchmark Air Conditioning is a outstanding company. You are able to easily make a appointment, Benchmark will text your smartphone with the appointment time and a picture of their technician. So you’re not opening up your home to a stranger.
Ken was our service tech and he did a wonderful job. He quickly diagnosed our problem and we soon had cold air again.

The most professional company I have had the pleasure of dealing with, just outstanding. We had a team of 4-5 working most of the time. They took on a job that was not easy. After a very bad experience with two other companies as well as our AHS insurance they were able to not only do a fantastic job in the hottest attic in town, but give us a good deal and work promptly and neatly. Aaron, Mike, and all the guys, thank you!! Even I think it is Nicole, in the office is so sweet over the phone. We will not use another company again. Had two other companies look at my unit, one sent by insurance company. That was a joke. They did not want to do the work obviously. This company did a complete diagnostic of my heating and cooling system. The technician was very knowledgeable, prompt, and kind. Gave me a quote and I am waiting to get my appt. to start work on Monday hopefully. So far, this seems like a reputable, honest company that I will continue to recommend and use in the future. Benchmark sent out Aaron to maintenance the air conditioning unit and so glad he was out when he was. He went through everything and found an issue that would cause major problems down the road, (and with our luck probably the hottest day). Long story short he was easy to work with explained the best way to resolve the problem and felt very comfortable having him at my house.

We are so happy with Benchmark. Aaron , such a nice guy, was
very considerate of our Covid 19 concerns. Wore a mask and was
very careful of where we were and where he was. That was just the
start, he carefully explained what was his program, then went about
checking the attic, then continued with the outdoors a/c. I had asked
him to check the thermostat because thought it might be a problem.
He did and assured us it was fine. He changed our filters and told us
to be sure and remind him the next time around. Such a nice guy, we

Excellent Service! We were told by another company that we needed a new evap coil ($1500 fix) due to a leak so we called Benchmark for a second opinion. I appreciated how the technician (Ken) came out and explained what he was going to do and what he would recommend. The tech conducted a full inspection our system and didn't notice a leak at the moment. He stated that he checked our condensate drain and there was no evidence of a coil leak in the condensate pan/drain. The tech recommended a summer service and if we have any other issues with cooling to call them and they would come back out and conduct a leak test of the whole system. I've used Benchmark Air Conditioning in Bakersfield for a number of years and have always had a positive experience with them. They are always prompt with their scheduled times and provide honest feedback for any issues. The Benchmark employees are all very experienced and knowledgeable technicians, and have wonderful personalities as well! The Benchmark team really knows their stuff and easily demonstrates their ability to quickly identify and successfully resolve issues. Benchmark recently did a new A/C installation at my residence, with Darrell and Ken as the lead technicians. Good communication, a solid work ethic with high quality work was evident throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend Benchmark Air Conditioning for any work that may be needed. Darrell presented himself as a knowledgeable and personably professional who along with Mike Ryan and Aaron worked together to install a new HVAC and Water Heater into my home. From administrative staff to the completion this team was efficient and patient as they explained allOf the systems to me as well As showed extreme compassion for my stress. My water heater was leaking and caused a small level of mold and explained to me the options I had and answered all questions. I felt so good as they treated me like I mattered!! Aaron, the service technician arrived within 45 minutes of placing the call for the furnace failing to ignite. He was very professional and friendly; it took him about 10 minutes to diagnose the problem. Aaron replaced the defective igniter and had the unit operational within about 15 minutes. He then agreed to perform the, as of the time, not previously scheduled Spring check up of the two systems on the property. We couldn't have asked for better service Aaron G. 03/25/20 |

I am a happy customer of Benchmark AC. Their field service technicians are professional, courteous, and reliable. They don't advertise, but instead build their customer base by word of mouth. Once the tech has examined the issue, they will explain what work needs to be done before any work is done. The field techs also suggest any upgrades that your system might need to keep you comfortable at home. After two attempts at being ripped off by two different Bakersfield based companies, we found Benchmark. Instead of having to replace our expensive unit in the attic space, the tech cleaned the grid, unplugged the over flow line, cleaned the outside air exchange, our AC worked as good a new considering that the unit was only 5 years old at the time. I will not be using Benchmark for all my AC needs. They are honest and if the cost is a bit beyond your budget they have ways to help that out as well. Aaron G. 03/18/20 |
