One of the rubber water hoses on my washing machine burst, so I called Armbrust and they sent out Tom ******. He quickly installed new metal hoses to both the hot and cold water outlets. By now I had a lot of water on the floor, and it had gone through the floor and there was a lot of water downstairs. He suggested Chicago Fire & Flood to clean up the mess, which turned out to be a wonderful solution. If I ever have another plumbing problem, I will ask specifically for Tom. By the way, this was the Memorial Day holiday, and Tom came very quickly. He inspired a lot of confidence in his attitude, work and suggestion of further assistance. Tom H. 05/26/19 |

Tom Heyman completed the 2 tasks requested and when he discovered a pipe that was loose, he fixed that too. He was courteous, informed me of each step in the process, cared enough to spare the carpet from any stains or spills and even engaged with the child in the house, to answer his questions politely. Adam with Armbrust plumbing was excellent! He showed up on time and called 20 minutes prior to his arrival. He was very clear about the plumbing issue that I had and clearly stated about how long it would take him to complete the work. Following his work, he explained thoroughly all he had done and it was a much easier fix than I was expecting! Louis P. did an amazing job for us. Our airconditioner went out and we weren't scheduled for our annual inspection (which I highly recommend) until the following week. He was able to come out the same day (thanks to Rhonda) and not only diagnosed the problem and quickly repaired it, he also did the annual inspection since he was there! Alan Carlson did a fantastic job fixing the problem with my faulty water heater. He also explained exactly what he was going to do informing me of all the key steps (which many of which I didn't understand :-) ) but Alan explained each step and it's importance. He also fixed the weird gas line that had been installed into the house prior to our purchasing it over 7 years ago...which made our utility room very cramped!
If you need a great plumber I highly recommend Alan. His 4 years of apprenticeship has really prepared him to be the excellent plumber he has now become! Great job Armbrust Plumbing and Heating for having employees like this.

Tom did an outstanding job of taking care of my plumbing problem - - replacing a frost-free external hose spigot. He showed up on time, quickly diagnosed the problem and immediately began the repair process. He completed the work in less time than I would have expected and everything functioned as expected.
